1st Univ. Onsite Stay/Ressie ?

Hi, planning our first Universal Onsite stay for early June 04. I know this is early planning.

Would like some tips/info from you pros. Did anyone get the entertainment rate at any of the universal hotels for June this year? Also, what was your nightly rate? (just want to get some clue on this).

If so, when did you book and when should I call and make a ressie and try to get an entertainment rate? Who to call?

Which hotel do you suggest for best small kiddo pool area and still have plenty for the tweens to do?

Sorry so many questions. Thanks in advance for replies. We are flexible on our dates. Will be sailing disney magic June 5-12 and can go before or after to get a discounted rate.

It looks to me as if people got ent rate for early June. As to when to call, hard to say. you might be able to book in the fall, or maybe in january. Call 1-800BEASTAR to make ressie. they might be able to give you an idea of when the rates come out. I myself booked at regular rate, and then called every few days to inquire whether ent rate was available. It suddenly was after about 2 weeks of calling. This was about 2 1/2 months out in January. So I changed my original ressie.


Generally, lowest rates for standard are HRH $125, RPR $110 and PBH $155? I could have had HRH garden for 125, pool view, $135, and deluxe $160.

I think all three have pretty good pools for kids of all ages. HRH is the closest to the parks, about a 5-10 minute walk. Slides are at PBH and HRH, not RPR.
