We are planning a trip in either Jan or Feb 2007 to Disney World ~ is this a good time to go? We will drive to Florida we live in Louisiana.

At the time of travel our kids will be 5, 3 & 1. I have no idea where to even start.

I need:

resort or hotel that is kid friendly and has a fridge. I was told that the best bet with kids is eat cereal in room(or free breakfast in hotel) head to park back to hotel for lunch (in room PB&J's etc..) & naps and back to parks in evening for dinner ~ is this our best bet?

What are height requirments for kids rides?

Is a week long enough?

Is there baby sitting? so DH and I can get out alone? Not sure we would do this but the option is nice?

What are the best places to visit. I want to see Sea World and ANimal Kingdom since the kids LOVE animals any other tips.

I need all the help I can get. If you need further info I will provide it.

Thank you
Melissa

Personally, I think Jan and Feb are great times to go b/c the crowds are very low, and the weather was what I would call capri and long sleeve shirt weather. It was very comfortable walking around and the kids weren't hot and whiny. I have 3 kids, and we have traveled to WDW when they were those ages. I highly reccomend doing Fast Passes and Parent Swaps for those more popular rides. Hotel...really it depends on how much you want to spend, how close you want to be to the parks, etc. THe moderates and deluxes have the refridgerators at no extra charge, the values you can request and pay a little more. YOu might like the Animal Kingdon Lodge since you like the animals so much. There is also a resort page here for pictures of rooms and such. There are sitting services that will come to your room, or for the 4 and older children there are kids clubs at the deluxes. Since your youngest is under the age of 3 that one is free(room, and tix) We have gone to WDW with help(an grandmother) and without. Both ways are totally do-able and still not miss out on the magic! THere are MANY rides that don't have a height limits, otherwise 40", 44"and 48" for the others. I think the water parks might be higher.. Best wishes for a wonderful trip!
