I have only been to the DLR once and that was when i was 14. I'm thinking of going in august and have no idea what DL is like that time of year. Also thinking of staying at HoJo ( it looks nice from its website) but again don't know much about it. And what are the must see things at DL and DCA and what things does DLR have that WDW does not? thank you

August? Hot and crowded. It shouldn't be as humid as Florida though.

I've done DL many times commando style as a teenager/adult. For me, the 4 mountains are a priority, as well as POTC and HM. Now that I have an annual pass I like to go a little slower and enjoy things like the Billy Show, and other music groups. I"m planning on touring the dark rides next trip. I generally skip DCA, but most people would say Soarin, TOT, and Screamin are must sees.

What kind of group(ages) are you going with?

We went two years ago on a Friday in August with my then 2 year old.
It was hot and crowded.
But, except for Finding Nemo which was brand new then, the lines weren't as bad as we had expected.

The only suggestion is that if you want to have lunch in the park, make a PS. We didn't and had to wait forever.

Hope you have a great time!
