1st trip to dlp staying at hotel cheyenne

ok this is our 1st trip to dlp, we are going 14th march-19th march, with me, (jane), dh (matt), 3 kids, jake 5, libby 3 1/2 and emma 20 months, we are booked in at the hotel cheyenne as this is the only hotel i could find that would sleep our family, we would have liked the hotel disney, but they don't fit us in, anyway i am looking for tips to help our trip run smoothely, great restuarants for us all, that aren't too expensive as we are staying 4 nights i don't fancy mc'donalds every day, any experiences, tips, advice and help would be appreciated, we are flying from manchester.

For restaurants what do you prefer table service or counter service. Some of our favourites are Annettes Diner, Cowboy Cookout, Plaza gardens and Pizza Outpost. Have a look at menus here

Another vote for Annette's Diner - great food, lots of choice and fairly reasonable prices!!

Hi Jane,
The Cheyenne is lovely - Jake & Libby will adore it. Annette's Diner is a favourite of ours, kids will enjoy Pizza Planet it has an indoor play area too, there are lots of fast food type restaurants serving all the things kids love, chicken nuggets, burgers etc.
I love Plaza gardens they have a set priced buffet menu (which I can't remember the price of but I remember thinking it was very reasonable for the amount and selction on offer) from roasted meat, veg. etc., to pizzas, salads and a superb choice of desserts. The Character tea is fun there too.
