1st Trip to DL is a few weeks away - & I'm completely freaking out... HELP!

I will echo other posts - we get more done in the morning hours than the rest of the day. A few other things we do:
  • Grab breakfast foods on the way out the night before (we like granola/yogurt/fruit cups from GCs Whitewater Snacks) and eat in line while waiting for the gate to open.
  • Even if you're not not morning people being there for the gate opening ceremony (EMH at DL) is fun for little kids (well me too). They choose a family every morning to "open" the park.
  • Eat on the off-peak times and hit the attractions during peak meal times
  • Carry snacks and a britta water bottle w/filter.
  • Go with the flow. I have been twice in recent years and STILL didn't see everything. After the first, a week long trip, we got home and went "How on earth did we miss that one?". Its OK. One night we had planned to stay late but decided at dinner we were beat and headed back to the hotel to refresh and start early the next day. Remaining flexible will help. (this is actually one thing which freaks me out thinking about going to WDW, I would rather not plan the day out) The main goal to to create fun memories.
