Hi folks,

Long time, no see...or lurk, as the case may be ;). We are heading to DL and CA in a week....super excited. We're only going to be there for one day, but we'll make the most of it :cool1:!

DS (12, autistic, non-verbal) would hate to miss any opportunity to see his favorite Disney characters. Any tips for catching Winnie the Pooh and his gang? He is also particularly fond of the Jungle Book characters and Peter Pan.....along with various princesses. Ah, heck, he loves them all :D! But seeing those mentioned above would be most enjoyable. I know where to find everybody in WDW, but am having a hard time wrapping my mind around where to find them in DL and CA. Any insights would be SO appreciated......we are Disney junkies....and DS LOVES to visit the parks :).

Wishing everyone on the boards a spectacular 4th of July!!!!

TIA,

Tracy

If you go to City Hall as soon as you arrive then they should be able to tell you where the charaters are and when. We saw Peter Pan and Wendy by the wishing well next to the Snow White waterfall when we were there.

If it's in your budget, I'd suggest trying to get into the Minnie and Friends character breakfast. There are usually Winnie the Pooh characters there. I've also seen captain hook, fairy godmother, and many more. It would give him a chance to see the characters up close without waiting in line. If you get a PS for right before the park opens, you won't miss much park time.

Princesses, Rapunzel, Fairies, and Pooh Bear have set meet and greets in hte parks. Mickey can always be found in toontown. Most of hte main characters can also be found in Main street all the time. Check either in City Hall or with a Character handlers for more specific times...

Think we may try to do a character breakfast. We have done several at WDW and Zeke (DS) always enjoys. Is the name of the restaurant Minne and Friends? I'll look back and the website to try and see. I feel a little "under-prepared!":scared1: We are WDW junkies....and this was a "spur of the moment" item we added to the itinerary when I saw the map of where we were going....I'm a bit geographically "challenged.":rotfl: Do their ADR's work pretty much the same way?

Thanks again :D!
