1st Trip Report, I just can't stop myself! (April 17th - April 25th) POP

Hi guys,

Sorry i haven't posted in a while, I do plan on finishing my Trip report I promise. Things have been rough for a while, my mom was diagnosed in 2006 with pancreatic cancer, and through some tough times she was able to have surgery after a year of treatment to remove the tumor in 2007. We recently got results that the tumor has come back. So the Summer is going to be a long one, we have more family stuff going on too, so i will update again as soon as I get a chance to breath.

So after dinner, which was yummy and fun! I would totally go back there again for a meal! We headed back to the boat launch and back to Magic Kingdom, we ran into a photopass guy so we took some night pictures which are my favorite.

Then we headed inside the park, I decided I was getting chilly so we went shopping, I found a great T shirt that I love, and my DN bought the furry crocs because they were on sale, but she is mortified that she bought them because she says they were ugly LOL but her feet were cold so she bought them. We then headed towards Mickey’s Toontown because we wanted to see some princesses. We made a pit stop at the Speedway and I gave the girls their glow in the dark bracelets I got them.

Then we headed to toontown, first stop Minnie’s House,

then over to the big tent to see the princesses. We waited about half hour then had our turn. When we were in line my DN decided to shop some more and bought me a Tinkerbell frame! I loved it. It was here thank you to me for bringing her to Disney. Here are some of the pics, both photopass and mine.

After the princesses we had to ride the Barnstormer, so I sat on the bench across the street from it, and DD rode it 5 times, we then headed to Mickey’s house, and his line was way too long so we skipped seeing the big man. We then headed back to fantasy land it was getting to be time for the fireworks and I have never seen them from behind the castle, so off we went. My DN wanted to sit and chit chat on her cell phone so DD and I headed to Winnie the Pooh because I have never been on it. The fireworks started while we were on the ride, but that’s ok, after we sat with my DN and enjoyed the fireworks!

Then we started heading towards the castle and found the wishing well, so I had to get some great pics of the girls making wishes. Then we went to try to see Tinkerbell, I wasn’t sure what to expect when we went in there, but it looked like the cashier really wanted to go home so I just walked around looking for a way to see her, and I gave up and finally asked the cashier, where is Tinkerbell? And she said you want to see Tinkerbell? And brought my DD over to the cash register counter and gave her a bell and asked everyone in the store to gather around because we were going to find Tink, and asked my DD to ring the bell and started asking for Tink.. it was great, then she showed up on the back wall in the box! That made my DD’s day!

How can you top that! So we headed out of the castle and down Mainstreet and off to the hotel. What a great way to end the day!

Hey! A new update! I love the princess photos..... Very cute interaction with your DD, her face is so sweet.... the way she is looking at Cinderella and Belle, very cute! Tell your DN that her furry crocs aren't bad, they look very comfy!
How's your mom doing?

My mom is hanging in there. She had one chemo treatment and ended up getting an infection, so in the hospital she went, she was in for 3 days. She is just getting off the antibiotics which caused major nausea for her. She chose to not do chemo this week because we rented a cabin on a lake near us for next week and she wants to be as healthy as possible for it.

Sometimes I just wish I was back at Disney! Life is so much easier when on vacation!

We have been lucky this week, she is getting her strength back little by little, so it should be a fantastic week next week! desperately needed that is for sure.
