Day One.
Nasty nasty long flight crammed onto a small plane :-( coffee keeps me going, after getting off, we join the EPIC long queue for the rental car...my man sense senses trouble.
I reach the nice man who informs me that I need to pay $650 for car insurance which my
travel agent ASSURED me was already taken care of!! This knocked me back a bit. But wanting to get on with the hols, slapped it on the credit card and will fight this later with travel men
Went to get the car..a NASTY NASTY man showed us to the car and then started shaking his head at us, then tutting...he would NOT leave, I got the hint he may want a tip because he opened our car for us, the lowest note we had was a $20 so had to give him that to get him to go away...I will be wiriting a complaint letter to alamo.
ANNNNYway. I got in the car and flushed all that bad away...onto I4 and Off to Disneyworld!!!!!
I nearly cried going through the gates.
And then this did make me cry, especially after the nasty car. We got to the gates of AKL...the man said,
howdey guys, welcome home.
I nearly got out and hugged him.
AKL Is wonderful! I cried, beautuful, wonderful, home, heaven. The music, the lighting, the smell...oh the smell!
After checking it went for an explore..
above our room view! i thought i was gonna get parking lot! I named all the giraffes 'steven'
got in the pool straight away
Watched a bit of stacey then went to bed.
NEXT DAY...
Disneyland!
Squeezed all the major rides in, longest wait was splash mountain about 40mins, haunted house wonderful as ever, loved the refurbed bits.
Caught the parade
and Paco Bills for foody!
Our legs gave in about 8:15pm so decided to come back for spectromagic wishes another day
