Well, this was going to be the last day of our trip. We got up early as always. We decided to do MK once again. We thought the kids would really enjoy spending thier last day here given their ages, 2,2 and 4. We got to TTC at 8:30 and we got on the first ferry. The monorail is too cut throat for us and using the ferry let's us keep the kids in the strollers. We were pleased to see that Chip and Dale were on the ferry ride. They were on the top deck so we didn't get up close, but it was still a nice touch to the ride. Now, this was a Thursday, and Thursday is an Early Entry day for resort guests. We had read to avoid EE parks, but we really wanted to go to MK on this day. When we got to the gate, it was so crowded. When we got in, we headed straight for Tomorrow Land. We had planned to ride Buzz once and then get a fast pass to do it again after a few other rides. When we got to Tomorrow Land and saw how crowded it was, we got a fast pass and booked it to Fantasy Land. The one thing our littlest twin had wanted to do was to ride Dumbo again. He doesn't talk much yet, but he is a good pointer and his little arm was wild when he saw Dumbo. Unfortunately, the line was already for 40 minutes. He was easily persuaded to do something else, but it was heart breaking. We rode Snow White 3 times in a row with less than a 10 minute wait and then we rode waited in line for Pooh which had a 15 minute wait but turned out to be more like 30. Then we got a fast pass to ride Pooh again and then headed to use our fast pass for Buzz. We had some time so we rode on the Tomorrowland Transit ride. It was a nice relaxing diversion, much better than the trains we rode in the parks. It takes you through a couple rides. The kids liked it too. Then my husband got a fast pass for Splash Mountain so he and Douglas could ride that. I walked the kids through and around the castle. Douglas kept on insisting that we need to go check out the rooms in the castle. It was hard explaining that they don't have rooms that we can go through. When you think about it, the castle is beautiful and probably the first thing we envision when we think of MK, but it is kind of a disappointment too because unless you want to take the time to have a sit down meal in the restaurant, there is nothing else there. When w passed through once though, Cinderella was on her balcony waving and that was cool. We rode Pooh for the last time and then headed to use the fast pass for Splash Mountain. At that point, we were sick of fighting the crowds. Getting up early everyday and having a plan paid off until this last day. I will never go to a park on EE day again. We decided to skip a real lunch and go to Main Street and get one of those gigantic ice cream cones for everyone at the ice cream shop. We got pictures with our cones, ate them, and then strolled down the street for the last time. It was kind of sad. We took the ferry back to the parking area and went to our hotel. We swam for a little while and then started to pack. My BIL called and insisted that since was our last night we were all going back to a park and he wanted it to be Epcot. So, around 6:30 we headed to Epcot. We hadn't been all week and when we arrived it was breath taking. The huge dome out front was so much bigger and impressive than I remembered. The twins were amazed at the lights under the bricks in the sidewalk. It was beautiful in the dark. We just strolled through the park. This made me wish we had spent a day here but it left me wanting more so I know we will be back soon. We found a place in America to sit on a bench and wait for the parade and Illuminations. We got burgers in America and they were quite good. The kids had fallen asleep in their stollers and for the first time all week, my husband and I could sit and talk quietly without entertaining the kids. We also got to talk to my sister and BIL without interruption. We really enjoyed the parade. The costumes are very cool and the music is uplifting. Nothing, however, could beat the fireworks in Illuminations. I have never seen anything this good before. I was exhausted but so glad we went out on this night. Until this point, I had many Disney moments but all through my kids' experiences. This night, I had Disney moments of my very own. What a way to end a wonderful trip.
Stay tuned for my final report as I wrap up the week.

I think Disney through a childs eyes is just the best!! I'm so glad you got to experience the magic in so many different ways. :)
