Hi everyone, We're hoping to take our kiddos (ds 6y.o. and dd 3y.o.) to WDW this spring for the 1st time. Also would like to drive out to one of the beaches for a day. Is the weather warm enough in April to do that or is May better? Also how do the crowd sizes and cost differ between the 2 months? Any info.'s greatly appreciated. We're also still trying to decide whether to drive or fly...we live in PA. Thanks!

Easter is in April this year and that is one of Disney's busiest weeks. There are also still Spring Break crowds.

I have been both months. We had beautiful weather in april. I would check accuweather though, or even weather.com. You can look up historical averages on those sites.

I would say May was a less busy month in the parks. Check Allearsnet.com under the planning section, there's a list of historical attendance levels that might impact your decision.

hth!

May is our absolute favorite. The Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot is wonderful and has extra activities for the kiddies.
