1st Timer Basket

I took this idea off of another thread......We are taking our neighbors with us to Disney in October. This will probabley be a once in a lifetime trip for them. I would like to make them a basket full of stuff for their trip and give it to them about a month before we leave. I think this will get them super excited (more so than they already are)!!! I need ideas of what to put in their basket. The family consist of dad, pregnant mom, 12 year old son, 9 year old son, and 10 month old son. Thank you .

Stuff for the trip?

Fan water bottles, glow sticks/bracelets/necklaces, some Disney shirts (purchased on clearance of course from Disney's website - having a 50% off sale right now and the outlet has tons of stuff on clearance).

Some pins on clearance to start pin trading? Disney picture frame?

Maybe join a photopass share on facebook so they can have all their photopass pictures?

I'd join the fairygodmailer thread for them, get a postcard sent.

So sweet of you to do this! First though I would make sure they are a fan of little things. Some moms hate little things that collect throughout the house. (Even if they are useful like water bottles.)

So my advice would be against a basket. Can you do one big thing instead? Maybe a Mickey Mouse cake for the family? Or beach towels, one for each? Or a favorite Disney movie?

I sent my girlfriend stuffed Mickey Mouses in khakis before her trip for her two boys. They brought the stuffed animals with on the trip. I know too though that lots of kids already have a ton of stuffed animals.

I like the idea of the Disney beach towels because they can be used as a regular towel throughout the year. Roll them up and "tie" them with a lanyard.
