We'll be staying at the HRH in 2 weeks,we just booked yesterday on their website 3/2 deal.We wanted the Royal Pacific but there were no rooms available. We've never stayed onsite and only visited the theme parks once. It's just two adults for 5 nights. How do these resorts compare to Disney resorts. We got the cheapest room avail.,partial obstructed view. Are we going to be infront of a dumpster?I'm curious about the All Access Card on the Hard Rock website.Should I pay the 25.00 bucks for this,it says free upgrade on rooms?

i read in some trip reports that guests that checked in this summer received the all access card free at check in.
i do not know if it was a promo for some months or on going.

call the hotel direct to find out.

i bought the All Access card years ago but received many perks and freebies with my membership.

i'm up another $20 credit on my card due to this october's purchases at HRC.

dumpster, really........none of the hotels would have a guest with that view.
obscured means you have a blocked view for the most part.

i have only seen 2 rooms that had a rooftop type of view.
it was based on the angle view from the room.

if you booked an obscured view, then it is by your request to take that view.

you can always call back to see if any openings are available at the rph.

peeps do cancel reservations and something might open up for you if that was your first choice of hotel..

Well I can't really say that I'd complain about a view because as you had said,it's what I booked.I just was curious as to what to expect.I always say everything for a reason so I'll stick with the HRH and we can always try the RPR another time.

It would be O.K. if there were 20 Palm Trees in front of my window.I love Palm Trees!

the trees, bushes and foliage have tremendously grown since the hotel has been built.
the 2 hotels with obscure views are rph and hrh.

like damo stated, palm trees do block the views on the lower levels of the hotels.

most blockage is up thru floor 4.

there are some obscure views on floor 5 and a few on floor 6 due to trees.

i don't spend a lot of time in the room so the view is not the priority for me.
it is nice to have a decent view but as much time as i spend in the parks and city walk, it usually is dark when i return to my room at the hotel.

if your priority is getting the room as cheap as possible, the blocked view is what you want.

Me too!!! We have only stayed in a room with an obscured view once and the view was obscured because of a tree. You could still peek out and see a bit but there was mostly tree.
