1st timer at BC

I am planning my trip for next year and I think I have made up my mind on the BC but I wanted to get some diser's opinions on transportation for that resort. What other resorts share the buses? Any input would be great!!

OMG...you will love this resort! The YC/BC are my favs!!! You don't have to worry about buses to MGM or Epcot because you can walk to them or take the boat. When going to Epcot, I would suggest walking...VERY short. MGM is a little longer, if you can catch the boat right away it would be the fastest; however, we many times prefer the walk...it's so peaceful!

The buses to everywhere else aren't bad. You will share a bus with Swan, Dolphin, Boardwalk and Yacht club. I know that it sounds like a lot but they are all so close together it only takes about 10 minutes to make it to all the stops. Many times, on the bus ride home you won't have to stop at the Swan or Dolphin.

Enjoy your stay...it will be so magical, I'm sure!!!

We stayed at the BC for the first time last month. We LOVED it!! I will never stay anywhere else again. I love the location...being able to walk into Epcot and MGM.....walking around to the Boardwalk at night....it was awesome!! The only other hotel our buses ever stopped at was the YC. Mostly though it only stopped at our hotel. Granted the only time we took the bus was for MK....we walked to Epcot and MGM(also took the boat to MGM)...didn't do AK this trip or DTD, so I can't vouch for those buses.

BC is great when you're going to MGM or EPCOT.

However, when we were there in Sept, we had to wait an hour for busses to AK & MK. And, in addition to stopping at all the other resorts, the bus to AK also has to stop at one of the water parks. Not fun.

We just spent 8 days at the BCV (10/23-10/30) and had NO problems with transportation except to DTD. The bus to the MK was only shared with the YC (BC was last pick-up and drop off) and the bus to the AK was only shared with YC and BW, I think. BB was not open so no water park stop on the way to AK this year. The DTD trip was LONG on the way home - TL, Swan, Dolphin, BW, YC THEN BC. Phew! But, remember, you can always get off and walk from any of the other resorts if you're feeling up to it. You'll LOVE the BC and remember - ALL locations have some transportation issues even when it seems simple enough...

The Beach Club is a wonderful resort, can't say enough about it. When we were there this past summer, we had no transportation problems to speak of. If we had a PS for dinner at another resort, we would just call the valet and they would get a taxi for us. Enjoy your trip!

I love the beach club too (we stay at the villas.) We find the transport quite good (the busses were quite frequent) and we love being able to walk to Epcot and MGM. I love the restraunts at the BC/YC too, the Steakhouse and Beaches and Cream are excellent.

I can't wait until our next visit to the BC (only about a year and 2 months away!)
