1st time using WDW transportation...what is the easiest way...

Get from AKL back to Pop Century?

We're going to be taking the bus from MK to AKL for dinner at Boma. Afterwards is there a relatively easy way to get from AKL-POP or do we need to take a bus to a park and then get a bus from the park to our resort?

I was thinking of doing a cab but there are 6 of us and I think we'd need 2 cabs??? That would probably get expensive, right?

Thanks for your help :) We usually have a rental car but this time we decided to cut costs and use WDW transportation...

:)

You do need to take a bus to a park , and then take a bus to POP. It shouldn't take too long, so I wouldn't bother with the expense of a cab or two!

It would depend on which park is open when you are ready to leave AKL. When we ate at Boma last Nov., we took the MK bus and then transferred to the BWV's bus at MK. If it's late at night and the parks are all closed, you coul most likely take the DTD bus and then transfer to POP bus.

I know that all Disney resorts have taxis readily available outisde their main entrance. I have also read that vans are available at no additional cost so this would serve your group if you decide to go this route. If it's really late you might just want to grab a taxi from the AKL to your hotel. Probably would only cost like $15-$20 so it's not very expensive. Your only other option is to bus to an open theme park and take your resort bus from there. If you happen to get to the theme park around closing it will be very crowded at the bus stops.
