so I am looking for a romatic suite for me and DH for AUgust, our 1st trip ever and ever with NO KIDS!!!! so I founf a nice room at the New York New York and was wondering if anybody has any pictures to share or any thoughts on this hotel? any input would be greatly appreciated...thanks~!

It's in a great location, and that counts for a good bit.

I've heard that the rooms are small, but with just two travelers, that wouldn't deter me.

My hubby and I stayed there last July for the first time. The rooms did seem a bit smaller than other Vegas roooms but with 4 adults we had plenty of room. I don't have any pics of the room but we would definitely stay there again.

you can get a Junior suite package at MGM that comes with chocolate covered Strawberries, champagne and rose petal turndown. The suite comes with a whirlpool tub!

I've stayed at just about every nice hotel on the strip, NY NY 3 times and this hotel definitely has the smallest rooms. The casino is also smaller here so it always appears more crowded than the other casinos. There also seems to be more children here than at others due to the arcade and roller coaster. From many of the rooms, you will hear the coaster and the screams from the passengers. It is closed at night but if you are planning any time during the day in your room, you may be listening to that coaster.

It's not a bad hotel, otherwise I would not have went back twice, but this would not be my pick for "romantic". You should be able to get MGM for same price and its just across the street with larger and quieter rooms.

I stayed at the NYNY last year and I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure I'd classify it as romantic. The rooms were a bit on the small side but nicely appointed. There was plenty to do in the casino, lots of variety. FWIW I didn't see many kids in the hotel, despite the arcade and roller coaster. The hotel is at one end of the strip, but we didn't have any trouble getting to any of the other casinos. It just depends what your ultimate goal is - if you want an extremely romantic location or large room, I'm not sure you'll get it at NYNY. But if you want a decent hotel on the strip with plenty of things to see and do, then NYNY is a great choice.

from what I have seen their spa suite is very nice, has anyone stayed in the spa suite?
