This will be our first visit as DVC owners. :cool1: It sounds like all of the locations are pretty convienent to pools and bus stops. Just hop on to any bus to get to HH. but how do we get back?
I'm a failry light sleeper, and am mostly concerned about noise. Once I'm awake- I'm AWAKE! In reading some of the past posts, there seemed to some comments about the noise at the bldgs along the main roadway # 19-22, and # 38- 42. Also the bus turn around areas- # 13, 20, 40, 51-52. Has any one experienced this? I was planning to request an upstairs until to avoid noisy neighbors above- anything else? Also how do I make the request? Thanks so much for your help!

If you are too far from the HH to walk back to your room you have two options.
1)Wait for the internal bus, tis is one of the busses in the DtD route. It could take awhile.
2) Walk across the bridge from the main pool area to the Peninsular Road bus stop, and hop on any bus...Peninsular Rd is the first stop of the route and will stop at all other stops.

Personally, I only noticed bus noise on one of our stays, and that was on Miller's Rd. Any of the buildings that set away from the main roads should be fine, but I would definately avoid the buildings on Millers Rd and South Point where the busses have to turn around.

Another problem you might have is golf course maintenance. They are up and mowing or tending to the golf course early in the AM. Have you thought about using ear plugs to sleep???

Unless you are in a studio, noise will not likely be an issue. We have only had noise in the studios. Even when we have stayed in the units where the buses turn around, we have not had issues with noise in the 1,2 or 3 bedroom villas.
