1st time DLR on MLK weekend help!

Hey guys,

I am going to visit my uncle in LA on MLK weekend and am going to go to disneyland most likely one day out of that weekend. I just looked at the rehabs and closure's on touringplans.com and there seems to be a lot of rides down.

What day do you think would be best to go? I have been to WDW several times, and am interested in seeing the things WDW doesn't have a carbon copy of. I would love to see Fantasmic too if its possible. Any advice would great on things not to miss, best day to go, etc.

I'm not sure which day would be best to go, but keep in mind it's also Star Wars race weekend (10k on Sat and Half Marathon on Sun) so it will probably be a bit more crowded and there will be street closures in the morning.

Sunday morning after the race might be a good time because I will be sleeping for a few hours after the Half!

The seasonal overlay of It's a Small World -- which is called It's a Small World Holiday -- will still be going on during MLK weekend. Don't miss that!

All of our Frozen Fun events are going on now -- some of which are very similar to what's at WDW and some of which are a bit different.

Olaf's Frozen Ice Rink and the Winter Village are in Downtown Disney.

the first few hours after opening on The Sunday of a race day are some of the deadest hours I have ever seen at disneyland. Then after, it is crazy.
