I didn't see a thread for April 15. Anyone else going on this cruise. It's our 1st and we are VERY excited. :Pinkbounc

It's our first time also. Less than a month away before we go to WDW!!!:earsboy:

We are going to WDW first and then on to the Boat :earseek: HURRAY!! Are you doing Land and Sea?

There are 5 of us. Myself, DH, DDs (12 and 9) and DS (16). Early Dinner seating.

31 days and counting. (It was 81 degrees in Nassau on Friday :teeth:).

Can you tell me something? What is the DD, DS, etc. stand for?
Disney? Delightful? Devilish?

Anyway, we're also going to WDW for the first time (although I've been to the Disney/MGM studios years ago) before the cruise. We usually go to Disneyland....

Walter

 LOL

DH (Disney Husband), DD (Disney Daughter), DS (Disney Son).

At least that is my meaning.

Yesterday was 1 month till set sail !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have fun and enjoy yourselves. My family and I will be staying in cabin 6041, sailing April 18th. So we will be getting on the ship just after you get off. Please, please please save some of that Carribbean sun and fun for us!

We are counting down the days and I am jealous that you have 3 less days to go than we do!

:earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

:bounce: we are sailing on the april 15th with dm, ds, dnephew, myself, dh, ds, and dd. my family and my mom have sailed before. my ds & dnephew have never flown or cruised. we are doing both. we are in 2006 & 2008. I can't wait.

Scotto,

Don't be jealous, you will be sunning and funning after we are back in the rat race. :sunny: There is plenty of sun and fun to go around but we plan on using up as much as possible:hyper:

MMcCarthy,

We are in stateroom 8576. Maybe we will see you onboard.
I am just so excited I can hardly keep still :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We're 3 weekends away before our trip starts - first WDW then the 4/15 cruise.... we have a late dinner seating, but that's alright. I figure my 10 yr old DSS (stepson) can find plenty of snacks if he gets hungry.

Latest question. At Nassau, can he stay onboard in the Lab while his mom and I go onshore? I want to do some specialized sightseeing of certain film locations....
Stuff I'm sure he would be bored with.

Walter

by the way - 81 degrees in Orlando? No biggee. That's what the temps been out here! Getting ready right now to work on my pre vacation tan : )

You are so right WvT3rd...Three weekends and counting. I can't seem to think about anything but Disney:teeth:

I don't know the answer to the question about leaving DSS onboard while you go into Nassau. We are going on the Atlantis tour excursion with our 3.

Try posting the question on the main DCL forum maybe some DCL veterans will have an answer.

81 degrees sounds like a little slice of heaven to me :sunny:

See you onboard!

Tish

We'll be sailing with you. Myself, husband, grandma, and two teenage daugters, 17 and 14. We're also doing Disney and Universal Studios first. It's not our first cruise, but the first time on a Disney ship. I am so excited. We haven't been to Disneyworld since the kids were little.
I'm with you, Tish, on the weather. We're from upstate NY and we still have snow on the ground. I've had it with the cold weather!

Susan

Great Susan hope to see you onboard. It will be a blast.

Each day I cross off on the calendar I get more excited. We also haven't been to WDW for 4 years and have NEVER cruised. :hyper:

What dinner time do you have? Are your DDs doing the Wildside excursion on CC?

I am with you...the weather is driving me crazy (I guess I have a touch of spring fever :Pinkbounc. The temps are in the 60s one day then it rains and is back down in the 30s...uuugh

See you in 19 (more or less) days!!!!

We have second seating. From previous cruises that always worked for us because we didn't like to rush to dinner, especially when you go to the port cities. The only problem I see is on other cruiselines the show followed the dinner for late seating but I read where on Disney cruises the show is before dinner which means if we want to see the show we are going to have to get ready early anyway. Oh well, at least we have 2 rooms this time. The girls are staying with grandma. Yeah!
To answer your question about the excursion, one of my daughters is more "wild" that the other so they probably will just hang at the beach. It sounds like there's a lot happening there anyway.

Susan

There will be plenty for the teens to do on the beach and on the boat. My DS (16) is doing the wildside but the rest of us will just snorkle and stuff.

Here's hoping the DDs will want to check into the kids program for a little while so we can check out serenity bay. My oldest DD will be 13 at the end of May so she just misses the cutoff for the teen program so she will probably think the kids program is BORING. But I can always hope.

We are all in one room this time, but we did the grandparent thing last time we went to WDW....It was so convenient. Thank God for Grandparents :teeth: .
