1st time at IOA/US at night. What not to miss.

We are going to be staying at RPR for 2days. We haven't stayed on property and always left before dark. We are going in August. Anything that we should not miss????

Night is great at both parks. But outside of the castle projection show at IOA and the lagoon show at USO, there really isn't anything that happens at night that you can't do during the day. But somethings are more fun at night. Kong and Hulk at IOA are more fun after dark (although Kong is only outside for a very short time). At USO, HRRR is better at night. And Duff Gardens at night is a great place to have a drink and relax and take in the atmosphere.

Enjoy the Potter areas after dark the most, but enjoy the park dark, as sometimes the rides, that are the most popular ones, are less lines, and both night shows are nice. The castle show is shorter than the water show, and the water show is a one time showing, whereas the castle lighting usually shows several times until closing. Have fun, that time of year, it's still warm out, so we love being in the parks after dark that time of year, and we will be in August too.
