My ds broken his arm on Sunday and now my dd has a high fever and belly pain!!!! So, anybody want to take bets on whether or not we'll be going? I'm so nervous, I'm shaking. I have to wait another hour to call the doctor.
Now I am wondering if we are meant to be on this cruise... anybody know how the trip insurance works?

your going and everything is going to be fine, realx and enjoy the anticipation

Relax a bit, Denise. Easy to say, I know. Hope to hear a good doctor update later.

Take a deep breath! That's what I'm trying to do!!!:p

Have a great trip!:bounce:

Oh Denise, this can't be helping your stress level. Take a deep breath, try to get her in a bath to cool her down and let us know what the doctor says. Good luck!

Sending lots of good thoughts and pixie dust your way Denise!!! When we headed out for our first trip to WDW at Christmas time, our DS was sick to his stomach (fever as well) the evening before and then when we woke the kids to leave early the next morning, our DD was sick to her stomach. Since we drove, she slept for most of the first day. We stopped for the night and the next day everyone was just fine!! Hoping it works out that way for you too!!

The doctor thinks it is a virus. She did a throat culture since her throat is a little red but it was negative, so at least it isn't strep. She couldn't explain the belly pain, but that has subsided (at least for today-- she has had belly pain since Monday). The fever has gone down since this morning, so I'm just keeping her in the house and hoping for the best.
My nerves are a wreck!
