Our 1st stay at DLH DVC. We were at DL 2yrs ago for a brief stay before going onto Aulani (Grand Californian Stay).
Well, it was nice to fly into SNA (John Wayne Airport). Uber'd a 20min ride and right before arriving, got the text our room was READY!!! Woohoo....this was about 12-noon.
I did online check-in, but wanted to talk with guest services since our stay was booked as a split to cover our 7-day stay.
The cast member at the front desk was awesome, asked if we could stay in the same room the whole time. She said, let me check. How about room 1108? I said I'll take it. So, we went straight to the room and ordered Instacart.
The room was excellent overall, except we couldn't get the murphy bed all the way flat. Maintenance came by and found a kids tablet was stuck in the mechanism. I opened the safe and found a leftover vape stick!!! Oh boy.
We really enjoyed the overall theming at DLH and the 4-towers and pool were setup perfect with Trader Sams (Yummy) and Tangoroa Terrace (Yummy! Yummy). Halloween decor abound and if was a great atmosphere to be in. Trader Sam's was funny and food was good. We really enjoyed mobile order from Tangroa Terrace. The coconut french toast and macadamia nut pancakes were fantastic. The poke bowl with Chicken and again with Salmon was delicious...the kids size was plenty for an adult and it was only $13-
THE PARKS-
We bounced back and forth each day and had park hopper....Sun-Thurs was great, but Halloween and day after were nutso!!!
Our favorite rides: Soarin, IncrediCoaster, Radiator Springs, Web Slingers, Guardians, Silly Symphony Swings, Pirates, HM Holiday, BTM, Autopia, Buzz, Pinnochio, Alice, Seas w/Nemo, Space Mountain, and the rest.
