How crowded would the 1st or 2nd week of May be? Are there alot of folks at the parks then? What would the weather be like??

I have gone second week mon after mothers day. It was both perfect weather and crowds. Anytime before Memorial day is good.

DS's birthday is Saturday, May 9th - is Mother's day weekend really busy? We usually like to go in Oct or Nov and stick to midweek so this will be different for us.
