1st Halloween party

The first Halloween party this year was Friday the 2nd September, does anyone know if it is generally the first Friday in September? We're not doing Disney next year just universal and then 4 night Disney cruise. We leave the cruise Friday 1st September and our flight won't be until Saturday 2nd September so I'm really hoping the first Halloween party will be that night!

No, usually the Halloween party starts mid September. This year they started it much earlier. But if they follow suit with how they did things this year, then chances are good!

In 2015, the party started Sept 15. In 2014, the party started on sept. 1st. So who knows when they'll start it next year!

I did think it seemed earlier thanks. Guess I'll just have to cross my fingers as its ages until the dates come out!

Next year the MNSSHP will begin in April. (Just kidding, but if WDW could sell enough tickets they would!)

I've got my fingers crossed as well. We had a 6pm flight home the night of this year's first Halloween party but next year we are coming home 9/2 (again lol) so I'm really hoping they follow suit with the first Friday being a party night so we can go. DS will be 10 so it will likely be his last year Trick or Treating and I'd love to be able to go out with a bang
