1st disney trip and being sent by maw

We have just learned that our son's wish to meet lighting mcqueen at disneyland has been granted!!! How exciting!!! And then I learned that the only plans i will know about are the flight details until about 2 wks before the trip. I have no idea what to expect, but i am aware that we will be well taken care of by maw. The letter i received today confirmed flight details and very vaguely said that we will be free to visit all the parks including disneyland, legoland, knotts berry farm, universal, seaworld, the sandiego zoo, and wild animal park. While all of this brings me to a level of excitement I never imagined, I am also wondering how the heck we are gonna fit all of that into just 6 days, five nights..lol There will be five of us going, my husband, me, our two daughters, and our wish kid son. Thankfully we are extremely lucky that he has no restrictions and is in as good health as he can be. We won't have any health concerns holding us down and plan on just enjoying a wonderful family vacation after 6 years of stress. I would love to hear other disneyland maw experiences and how others have planned there trips to the fullest fun potential possible.

Congratulations on your son's upcoming maw trip to DL! How exciting. Certainly does sound like allot to try to fit into six days. Maybe everyone decide what's most important and focus on those. Anything else you get to do will be icing on the cake? I'm sure no matter what your son will have the time of his life!

We have decided to just relax and enjoy whatever happens. We made a countdown to disney sticker chart and our little lightning mcqueen fanatic is so excited to add a sticker to the chart every morning. Its making those morning meds go alot easier as well. We are just thrilled to be giving him this experience!
