1st day of 1st grade

I dropped Dylan off for his 1st day of school today & I'm a bit weepy. It was harder than I thought it was going to be.

It's always tougher on the parents! I remember not knowing what to do all day! I got over it though!

I know how you feel my 5 kids are going back next week and I am going miss them . (most of the other mothers at school think I am nuts they are jumping for joy )

MY friends all think I'm nuts for feeling so sad about sending my baby to school but it's hard for me.

Hi All-
I made it through this morning! He had a 1/2 day and we went to pick him up at noon. He came outside & when he saw us he came running & jumped up on me and buried his face in my shoulder. He was blinking back tears but he said he would go tomorrow for the whole day. I was really proud of him!
