OK I baked the cakes last night and I will decorate them tonight but I am still having trouble deciding on what else I want to serve for my DS's 1st birthday party tomorrow afternoon (nothing like waiting to the last minute to make decisions, huh?) ;) .

There will be 8 adults and 2 little guys at this party so I need to make sure I have enough for everyone to snack on.

My current ideas include:

Rotel Cheese Dip
Strawberries with Cool Whip
Deli Tray - cheese, crackers and deli meat

Does anyone have any better ideas for me? I don't want to spend a lot of time preparing anything because there are a million other things to get ready as well but I do want everyone to have at least a few things to munch on in addition to all of that cake.

Thanks in advance! :)

What you have sounds nice. If this is easier for you, I'd just go with it.

Things we like as finger foods are a veggie tray & Chex mix. That adults probably would been too excited about it, but the little guys might like Knox blocks/Jello jigglers. When my kids were under 5 I always did the Knox with fruit juice rather than actual Jello - but the Jello is easier.

When we have cold cuts we usually go with salad, potato salad and a pasta salad.
Another big hit is nachos and dip.

becka, I think that sounds perfect! :)
Just rest and enjoy your little guy's big day!

I am sure he will have a happy birthday!! :) :)
