1pm Thu, North West Mississauga is getting wind & snow

In Guelph too - started at about 12:30 and you can't even see across the field behind me!

Both of my kids are home - one b.c his bus was cancelled and the other b/c his older brother was home and I kept the little one that I look after home from JK too.

I really hope it stays snow at least until my dh gets home from work!!

It's pretty nasty in Georgetown too!! Very windy and snowing! I hope the freezing rain holds off but my kids are hoping for a snow day tomorrow!

Just came back from picking dh up at the Oakville GO. Slow moving traffic, the roads are a bit slippy from the ice that's underneath all this snow coming down. Can't see to the next block ahead of you so everyone was wise and took their time. Hopefully the commuters will get home safe tonight.
My boys are wishing for a snow day tomorrow...better organize something for them to do just in case!

2:35pm here in Mississauga....I can't see much outside....very windy and snowy. dh just called....407 near Vaughan is going about 60kpm, but visibility is only 100m.

I'm off to work! I work in a school until 6pm....the afterschool rec program. I think it's a movie night! heeheehee.

My manager just came back from lunch completely drenched. Fingers crossed for a snow day (even though I already had one )

I just heard from my dh in Burlington and they are sending everyone home from his office now - we have our snow day today but both of my boys are hoping this lasts so we can have a stay at home day tomorrow too!!

We're down here in Simcoe (Lake Erie area) and it's mostly ice pellets and freezing rain.....DS is at work in Brantford and has to make his way into Hamilton! Yuck!
