Mr. Birnbaum blundered about the the Fairway Villas. They slept 8: master bedroom in the loft, murphy bed in the living room, and a second bedroom with two full beds.

I stayed there with my inlaws, which made us a party of 7.

You know, now that you mention that, I think Birnbaum messed up on the Treehouses too. We stayed there a couple of times and they had 2 bedrooms plus a place to sleep on the first floor. I could swear that they had an official occupancy of 8 as well. I suppose it is all water under the bridge now, though.

I have a Birnbaums from 1987. Pricing for the Club Lake Villas (Bungalows) was $115 for the 1BR (sleeps 5 plus 1 under 3) and $200 for the 1BR Suite (sleeps 5).
At the Fairway Villas it was $185 per night (sleeps 6 plus child under 3). Vacation Villas (Townhouses) it was $150 for a 1BR (sleeps 4 plus child) and $195 for a 2BR (sleeps 6 plus child) and the Grand Vista Suites were $575 for a 2BR (sleeps 6) and $625 for a 3BR (sleeps 8). Treehouse Villas were $185 (sleeps 6).

Contemporary was $130-160 for Garden Wings and $180 for Tower. Poly was $130-170 ($195 for Lagoon View). Disney Inn (SoG) was $105 -140 and $250 for a suite.

Ahh- the good old days! ;)

I'll have to dig out my old info from the 70's sometime. This has really piqued my interest now! :)
I was looking at the prices back in 87-89 with my partner when he was contemplating a trip. I think the prices were just a little higher then, maybe up to $225-250 for the 2 BR units.
