I've never posted here, so if this is off-topic or against some rule, please remove the post and accept my apologies. I have no stake in whether anybody buys this or not, but I do buy a lot of stuff from a website called www.woot.com -- each day they have one thing for sale, usually at a good price. And often-witty commentary, by the way.
Today they have the original 1978 release by Ovation of four old-fashioned LP vinyl records filled with Disney soundtrack music going back to the Steamboat Willie days and continuing through the 70s. A 52-page book is included. All for $16 plus $5 shipping.
"Released in 1978 to commemorate Mickey Mouse's 50th birthday, Ovation Records collected the Music, Dialogue and Sound Effects from 37 Original Walt Disney Motion Picture Soundtracks and masterfully reprocessed them."
Okay, so who still has a turntable? Well, fortunately, the folks at Woot have a second website on Yahoo where they are cleverly selling a new-fashioned turntable that plugs in to your computer's USB port. This allows you to take your vinyl records and turn them into MP3s, which might come in handy for those of us who have piles of old vinyl sitting in the basement. There's a link in the product description to that page.
