1950's Costume help needed

My DS's school is celebrating its 50th anniversary and tomorrow they are having a street party 50's style. They need to dress in 50's fashion, can anyone give me some clues as how to dress him?

as you've only got a few hours I'd suggest giving the drape suit, quiff and brothel creeper shoes a miss and go for the leather jacket, quiff and biker boot look - good luck, isn't it a pain when you've got no time!
