1900 Park Fare question

I'm debating on 1900 Park Fare for my DDs 5th birthday dinner (going in January). Can you see the MK fireworks from the GF? I thought I had read that somewhere, but I'm not sure. I hate for her to miss the fireworks, but she really wants to eat with Cindy and the gang. Thanks!!

We will be there Jan 2-7. Her birthday is on the 3rd. She is so excited about spending her birthday at Disney? When is your DDs birthday? Maybe we'll see you there!

We ate at the Park Fare a couple weeks ago and had a wonderful meal, I'm sure you guys would enjoy it.

As far as seeing the fireworks, you would not be able to from the restaurant, but I believe you can see them from the boat docks as there is a pretty clear shot of the castle.

Have you thought about a birthday Wishes cruise?? We did that and it was absolutely amazing...unobstructed view of the fireworks with the music piped into the boat. You can get birthday cake too...

We are going to be there the 27th til the 4th of February. Her acutal b-day in on the 15th of Feb but I don't want to go down and deal w/ the President's day crowds.

There was a post on this board about a gues being picked to officially open the restaurant. My daughter would love that. She doesn't even really know we are seeing Cinderella for her b-day dinner.

I am going to call the GB Bakery and see what type of princess themed cake I can get. I would love to get the mini castle wedding cake.

I hope your Disney Princess as a magical b-day w/ Cinderella.

I'll be glad to e-mail you. Just PM me with your info and I'll let you know how it goes. I made all of my ADRs today and I'm somewhat disappointed. I never expected to run into problems getting ADRs in January. I thought this was a slow time! I couldn't get a CRT breakfast for any day of our trip. I'll keep calling, but I was very disappointed. We also wanted to have dinner at CP since our DD 2 loves Pooh. The only time available was 5:00. I can understand that CRT was full, but CP? Maybe I'm over thinking this whole thing. I've become a bit obsessive in my planning!! Sorry to run on.........

The CM I spoke with gave me the number for the bakery at GF so that I can order a cake. I'll give you more info on that too.
