It is a toss up over here. WE are doing the whole grand gathering thing and I was gonna do 1900 Park FAre for the girls but have herd mixed reviews and a pic of the meat grossed me out so I am thinking about changing to Ohana instead. What would you pick with 4 boys 2 girls and a bus load of adults.

We recently ate at 1900 Park Fare. YUMMY!!!!!!! During the same trip we ate at Ohana's.... personally I think that food at 1900 was better. I loved the choices and the atmosphere. While I love the Poly and Ohana's is also a great restaurant, I did not enjoy that we were under a speaker and everytime the woman who does hulas with the kids went on, her voice was BLASTING and we could barely hear ourselves speak to one another. Plus I love that at the end of our meal at 1900 we were able to meet the Fairy Godmother !! Always a plus:wizard:

When are you going? I heard 1900 Park fair will be moved to somewhere else inside of GF. We love 1900 breakfast and dinner.

We are going the week before Thanksgiving. I herd there would be renovations until October at 1900 Park Fare. Ohana was OK last time but I think the older kids would get a kick out of the antics. The moms and dads dont care either way. I hate picking and I feel my decesin might be swayed because we have been to Ohana and the service was good despite that lady that would not shut up the whole time.

Don't let the pics of the meat scare you, my husband still says that was some of the best buffet food he has had at Disney.

I have also been to 'Ohanas pre menu change, and the games are a lot of fun for both girls and boys. It keeps them having fun, and the adults a little time at the table to eat and chat without the kids and lets them stretch their legs then come back and sit and eat.

I would go with 'Ohanas

Forget the Fairy Godmother....I got to meet Mary Poppins!

1900 has a buffet...nuff said. (but I like O'hana's also)

My family votes for 'Ohana. We went to both our last visit. The kids say, and I agree, That 1900 Park Fare was their least favorite dinner buffet of any we have tried.

Have to agree w/ picking Ohanas, been their twice and would go back again. We were not impressed w/ the buffet at 1900, it's not anything like Crystal Palace or Chef Mickeys. It was okay, but the room needs updating, glad they are doing that. We would not go back until maybe after the renovation.

'Ohana if you like to eat a lot. I remember that the biggest meal that I had was at 'Ohana. One of my personal favorites. Love the pineapple bread and the fresh dipping pineapple in carmel.

Geesh, what a tough question because I love them both. But to be honest 'Ohana is our only must every trip so I'm goint to say you'd have to do 'Ohana for dinner. I think the key here is that there is a nice balance between things to do/enjoyment for the kids and a good meal and enjoyable atmosphere for adults. This restaurant has excellent food and you won't regret your choice.

Both of these restaurants were great experiences for us. However, I would have to choose O'hana. We requested a table with a view of the castle, and sat right by the window looking past the volcano slide at the pool with Cinderella's Castle in the background. Unfortunately, though, the pineapple with caramel sauce has been done away with. They have a bananas foster-based dessert now. Not quite as good, but when you get to the dessert, you won't have any room anyway. Don't forget that O'hana has a character breakfast with Lilo and Stitch.
