My DD in years past was allways Princess Crazy. Well on this trip she decided Princesses were out. In fact, other than Dug from UP she didn't even want anyone (and I mean ANYONE's) autographs except for the Ugly Step Mother and the Step Sisters. So, good mom that I am I made a reservation at 1900 Park Fare so we would be sure to meet the Meanies. The morning of our reservation, the kiddos had reservations at the Pirate League because don't you know Pirates are cooler than Princess.
I would like to say, the ladies who play the step mom and sisters were excellent. They had us laughing so hard I thought I would bust a gut. Well, we were at the end of the room so after us, they pretty much all got a break. We were sitting there as the last Character went by and we assumed they were going to leave. Next thing I know, Cinderella and Prince Charming came over and asked my DD if she would like to go on an adventure. She looked at me with the yuck a Princess is talking to me face. However, not being one to give up a good adventure she said yes please and off she went.
I though they would just go around the room or maybe dance but off they went out the main door and into the GF. I grabbed my camera and dashed off after them and I got what I hope is a great pic (will have to wait til I get home and download it) of the backs of the three of them with her in the middle holding their hands. They went to the big Gingerbread house in the lobby and talked about it and the Christmas decorations and walked around more of the lobby and then headed back. I can't tell you how many peoples vacations photo's she is in since people were clamoring to get a shot of Cindy and her Prince Charming. They probably got home, looked at the pics and said who is this Pirate Girl.
Just in case she never gets over her Princess problem I am so grateful they picked her so I got some pics that remind me of the little girl who is growing up way too soon.
