Just booked for dinner one night, although I have never been impressed with Disney buffets, but wanted to try something different. How is the food? What kind of variety? Characters interaction? Any pics? TIA

We have done this dinner twice and I feel it is mediocre food. They did have a decent variety, I think there were 3-4 different cuisines, Italian, asian, etc. The characters are great though. The step-sisters and stepmother are fantastic and totally worth the trip. My girls loved it so I made the food sacrifice for them!

This is one of our favorite meals. Our last trip we had a table in the center of the room. Cinderella danced right next to our table with the prince. She also danced with both kids. The step sisters were AWESOME!!! We went during Star wars weekends a few years ago... My DS had his SW cars on the table and Anastasia started to play with him. Drizella even sat on the floor with my DD and chatted with her. Not sure if I just had the luck of the draw at this meal, but by far it was one of our favorites. The buffet was very good and clean as well. My DH liked it so much we are doing it again this summer along with breakfast.

Character interaction awesome:) We were visited a couple of times with Prince Charming and Cinderella...my little great neice loved it..food was great and a good variety..a carving board of 2 meats, plus, other great veggies, fruit and desserts...We weren't rushed at all...I will go back and hopefully with my little granddaughter next spring:)

My kids LOVE this meal - the food for me is okay. But, they like the character interaction. Last time the stepmother was so funny with my 7yr old son - it was a riot. She "ordered" him around and he just loved it.

It was easily both of my daughters' favorite meal last trip! We ate there the night we arrived (and will be eating there the 1st night of our trip this Sept). The character interaction was AMAZING!!! The characters came to our table 2-3 times each. And the table that we were sitting at was the best in the house! Front row to everything!

We were all pleased with the food. I'll go back for the strawberry soup...yum!

The character interaction was divine...my younger DD was in heaven over getting to meet a Prince, Cinderella was beautiful and the Stepsisters and Lady Tremaine were hysterical. Lady Tremaine chastised me for dressing my DD so horridly (she was wearing a dress with Cinderella on it) and told me I should change the "rag" I was wearing as well (a Cindy tshirt). She was quite funny!

We are also going back at the end of this month for our arrival night dinner.

I will be the dissenter here. If you have been dissatisfied with the Disney buffets in the past, I see no reason to expect you will enjoy 1900 Park Fare. I view it as an ordinary character buffet similar to places like Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. I don't actively dislike dinner at 1900 Park Fare, but it's mediocre and ultimately forgettable. Unless you are committed to having a character meal, I think there are better places worth trying.

We loved this dinner and we are doing it again this year! DD's love to eat with Prince Charming...Lots of food selection and desserts...Also a childrens area. Step-sisters were fun but be fairwarned if they have already sung the "Nightingale" song before you are seated they will not sing it for a while. Lady Tremaine was so in character...so funny. We are also trying the breakfast with Alice this trip too.

After nearly cancelling our dinner adr there last August due to the lousy reviews, we decided to keep it and try it ourselves. We were so glad we did, we all liked the buffet and enjoyed the step sisters and Prince Charming very much.

Before dinner we went to the bar in the Grand Floridian for a glass of champagne and listened to the live band that was playing on the balcony. We were in a very good mood when we arrived for dinner, lol.

I cancelled our dinner ADRs on our last trip but am keeping them for this next trip. I'd rather experience it for myself. We're trying the dinner and hope to have a great time!:wizard:

I am so glad to read these reviews. We will be going for the first time in August. I have made reservations here 2 times in the past and always end up canceling for something else. I am definitely going this time!!

Well, you asked for pics! :rolleyes1 These are from last August - had a ressie right at 4:30 when they opened. We thought the food was great, character interaction was just eh. And it was a very LONG meal - over 1.5 hours before all the characters made it around.

We really liked it. The food was really good and they offered a large variety of foods. But honestly, the character interaction made the meal! The step family was hilarious! I was a bit leery of this meal going in, not because of the food but because of the characters. I didn't expect our kids to want to see them, I halfway expected them to be scared of them and I didn't expect them to be that funny. Boy was I wrong! The kids loved them and DH and I laughed until it hurt. 1900 PF was the only character meal that DH specifically requested for our next trip.

Its an amusement park right? ...so.. with that in mind...My opinion is the choice/selection of foods at this buffet, Break/lunch or dinner!! is great! Lots of choices and all of them decent.
We have been to each meal a number of times and think the Mad Hatter

is hysterical, not to be outdone by the very funny antics of the LOUD terriffic stepsisters at dinner! Go and have fun!

We did the dinner last year with our childen. I had heard some pretty awful reviews, but a few good ones too, so decided to keep the DR.

It was a blast entertainment wise. Our younger girls loved it, well we all did. But our teenagers and ourselves thought the food was really really bad. Probably the worst we had in the whole week with the Deluxe Dining Plan.

But I'd still recommend it for the fun. If the food is really important to you, well, I'd probably think twice.
