We are looking at the dinner at 1900 Park Fare for Character dining. It's the one with Prince Charming, Cinderella, Lady Tremaine and the step-sisters. My girls (who will be about 4.5 at the time) LOVE Cinderella. They call the step-sisters Hanastasia and Bsella. It's too cute! Anyway, we wanted to do one that was not in a park b/c we only got a 4 day pass and are there 6 days. Wanted to do character dining on the day we got there, for dinner.

Anyway, how is this one? Are step-mother and the step-sisters "mean" when they are there....or do they come around and chat just like the princesses would? I just wouldn't want them to be scared or have a bad experience. It would be DH and I, my twin 4.5 year olds and my 18 mo old DD.

We ate at 1900 Park Fare last April when my DD was 4. While the step-sisters and Lady Tremaine are a bit "standoffish" as to be in character they were by no means scary. In fact Anastasia chose my daughter to dance with at one point. We thought the food on the buffet was pretty good too.
We are going for my daughter 6th birthday this summer and when I asked where she wanted to have her special birthday dinner the "dinner with the stepsisters" was the only one she was interested in!

You should totally go! Your girls will love it there! It is seriously one of the best character meals in ALL of Disney!:thumbsup2

The step-sisters are not scary either. They are hilarious! When we went this past Feb. Drizella came up to the table next to us and this little 3 year old looked really scared. So Drizella knelt down beside her and told her she was just a normal girl and what her real name was. She continued to chat in her normal voice and the little girl loved it!

Lady Tremaine is exactly like the movie. She walks around looking down at everyone! My kids loved her. Cinderella is perfect, she is sweet and beautiful and happy to chat! Prince Charming is there as well and part way during the meal, he waltzes with Cinderella to music from the movie. The whole experience is just so charming!

If your daughters love Cinderella, they will love this meal! I just can't say enough positive stuff about it!:goodvibes

We did this in January, full review and pics in my Jan thread

The characters are a blast, not scary at all just a lot of fun. The food was horrible, I mean really bad.....
