1900 Park Fare Character Breakfast 12/15/2009

Went for a late 11:00 am breakfast seating with DH and 2 DS (age 2). This is a large brightly lit restaurant. Our server was very nice and attentive. DH and I both had tasty omelets from the omelet station. I also tried the grits, the lobster eggs benedict (couldn't find any lobster but it was still good) sausage links (very tasty - the standard breakfast link they serve at all the resorts), strawberry soup (good but I'm not big on sweets at breakfast), breakfast pizza (not as fresh as Chef Mickey's). The kids filled up on the fresh fruit and bacon and didn't eat much else. The difference in the food between here and Chef Mickey's was that the food is fresher and hotter at Chef Mickey's and the variety is better. The character interaction was good. We saw Pooh, Tigger, Mad Hatter, Alice, and Mary Poppins all of which were great with the boys. We have some nice pictures from our character interactions. Mary actually seated herself on the floor and invited the boys to sit on either side of her.
Overall, it was a character meal we are glad we did but probably won't be hurrying back for the food any time soon. For a similar price, Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace are far better.

1900 Park Fair can be described as controlled ciaos at best. The atmosphere is not good at all. It’s a large interior room with very little decorations and no windows. The food was OK, but not great. We’ve eaten Character breakfasts as the 1900 Park Fair, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Cinderella's Castle, Ohana's and Cape May and I would rate 1900 Park Fair as the worst by far. Of the Character Breakfast we’ve eaten at I would rate them as follows:
1) Chef Mickey’s
2) Crystal Palace
3) Ohana’s
4) Cape May
5) Cinderella’s Castle
6) 1900 Park Fair

I would agree with your ranking that Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace are the best. We haven't done the Ohana breakfast yet but probably will at some point.
