Could someone tell me a little bit about this breakfast? Which characters are there? Is it nice? Good food? Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.

We ate there for b'fast last New Year's Day, so the character mix might've changed ... it was an interesting group, with Belle, Pooh, Tigger, and the Mad Hatter.

Breakfast was quite good - if you're a buffet fan. It included all the usual suspects: bacon, sausage, ham, scrambled eggs, waffles, pastries, hash browns. AND it was crowded, which surprised me on Jan. 1. Of course, with crowds, the serving line is replenished more frequently, making for fresher food.

The GF is a lovely resort, and 1900 Park Faire has sort of a circusy/carnival theme, with a big ol' honkin calliope. Not a quiet, sedate environment at all.

May 2005 we met Mary Poppins (in her carpet bag outfit) in the lobby, then Alice, the Mad Hatter, Pooh and Eyeore came to our table. I think that Tigger was feeling under the weather that day so Eyeore took his place. Food was great; my kids ate about a pound of bacon. It was pretty standard breakfast buffet fare -- but quite a variety. They made omelettes to order in the buffet line. Our server was attentive. The room is pretty. It is too large to feel intimate, but it definitely does not have the same cafeteria feel that Hollywood and Vine has. We are planning to book this meal again in December.

I think it's the best breakfast in the World - including non character meals. I think the food is great with lots of options. It's very clean and things are kept fresh; I've never seen the typical "buffet behavior" there that is often seen at some of the other, more popular character meals.

Plus we love the characters - but we're old =) Alice and Mad Hatter are SO funny. Mary Poppins is a fave of mine and Pooh and Tigger are always fun!

The atmosphere is great and feels cozy. Service has always been good and the GF is just gorgeous!

Thanks everyone for your responses! This sounds like fun and I think I'm definately going to try it out.
