I know it's all about the characters... I'm just looking for some reviews, I guess, of the characters more than the food! :rotfl:

I'm leaning towards dinner with Cinderella and Prince Charming and those evil ones... only because my sons know that movie. BUT, I'll be there with my sister who I think would crack up with the Mad Hatter and Alice.

Any reviews?

We have done both breakfast and dinner at 1900 Park Faire and love both. I prefer dinner. Lady Tremaine and the evil step sisters are really funny and very interactive, they will talk to you for quite a while if you play along with them. My 3 year old asked them why they were mean to Cinderella and they had a mouthful for her about that. Cinderella and Prince Charming are also there. The food is good espically for a buffet. Anyway, it is a very enjoyable meal, go and have a good laugh.

We have done both, but enjoy the food at dinner a lot more! Also love the characters at dinner more!:rotfl: Though we did enjoy Alice at Bkfst!

We have done both and I agree that the food is better at dinner. When we were there, Alice and Mad Hatter were visiting the tables at the same time. So, not only did they banter with us, but they bantered with each other. It was really fun. But, since they traveled as a pair, it took them a long time to get to our table. Lady Tremaine was a bit much for my dds (7,5) - too stern - but the step-sisters were great.

We have done both and love both!!! Characters were entertaining at both and my grandchildren loved interacting with them. The dinner seemed to be more crowded the two times that we went so it took a little longer for the characters to get around to everyone-but it was worth the wait! I njust asked my husband and he said he enjoyed both but prefered the breakfast due to it being less crowded. We have gone to the breakfast several times and it has never been overly crowded. You can't go wrong with either choice!

We have been to both, food is gross at both

Characters at breakfast were very annoying because of the Mad Hatter....he was screaming and screeching louder than the kids and it was driving us, well, MAD! Not the kind of breakfast we would do again, especially since the food was horrible and the service was non-existant

Characters at dinner were a hoot! The Stepmother and sisters were hysterical and Prince and Cindy spent alot of time with our nieces...for that it was a great experience but add in lousy service and terrible food and we would not go back

We love both meals. The Cinderella dinner is a 'must do' for us every trip. We always book an early meal (they open at 4:30) and have always had a great experience.

We've been to the breakfast twice both later breakfasts (11:00 reservation). First time every character was amazing - saw a few of them twice. Tigger bounced everywhere, Alice and the Mad Hatter came around separately then somehow ended up at our table together they were a hoot! Mary and Pooh were both great too. On our recent trip they were running very behind on seating (had to wait 30 minutes) once seated the characters kept going by our table (we were sort of in a corner near the kitchen door) without stopping. We pointed it out to our waiter and the characters came out to say 'hi' but it didn't have the same feel as our previous visit - I think they were perhaps tired. We'll still go back but probably book an earlier time.

So no matter which meal you choose I'd suggest an earlier mealtime rather than a later one.

I've only eaten at Park Fare for breakfast and it was awful. Mostly because of rude, rude waitresses and CM's. IF I were to try again(NOT) it would be dinner.

Thanks everyone for your reviews - I love hearing all the different experiences and honest stories!

We have gone to both and enjoyed the character interaction. Food wise we liked breakfast better than dinner (we actaully had dinner and it was so bad we had to get room service when we got back to our room....but it was one of the best character interaction my son got). Cinderella came over to our table and asked my son to dance with her and after wards Prince Charming made a big deal that he dance with her instead of him and the step sister said next time you dance with us and my son said no way...I will only dance with Cinderella. It was magical to me b/c my son is so shy that he never goes to anyone and he just went to Cinderella and looked at her while they danced and then she kissed his him and at night he didn't want me to wash him up b/c he wanted her kiss on his face. The charaters for breakfast is great too...they came to our table 3x times and my son loved them except the Mad Hatter.

Food is better at breakfast for us. I think in terms of the characters, it is whoever appeals to you most because both contain the best group of characters of any character meal, IMO.

The Tremaines did scare my boys two years ago. The stepsisters were too boisterous. Once my middle DS started to cry, Lady T. softened up quite a bit while remaining every bit in character. Very impressive! But I thought they were a hoot.

My kids love Alice and Mary Poppins - and we have had incredible experiences interacting with both them and Mad Hatter in the past - so we are doing breakfast this time.

Glad to hear she softened up a bit after the crying!

hmmm.... food at both is ok - sometimes better than others to be honest. i like the character aspect of dinner better - you are a guest at cinderella's royal gala. :) there is dancing, kids get involved, etc. the breakfast is fun - mad hatter is pretty hysterical - but the characters are kind of all over the place (in terms of who they are and what movies they come from) which is a little confusing for little kids i think...

in all honesty though - you can't go wrong with either. :) we are going at the end of the month and only going for breakfast - just couldn't make dinner for us this time around...
