Trying to decide whether to do the 1900 Park Fare breakfast or the Wonderland Tea Party. We wouldn't do both since Alice and the Mad Hatter are at both. For what it would cost us to just have our two daughters do the tea party our entire family could do the 1900 Park Fare breakfast. I am also concerned if the tea party is a good value anymore since they no longer include the complimentary souvenir photograph with the event (this has to be purchased as a photo pass option now). If we were to do the 1900 Park Fare breakfast, we could all eat together, enjoy the atmosphere of the GF, and see Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Tigger, and Pooh or we could pay close to the same amount for our two daughters to do the Wonderland Tea Party, which parents aren't allowed to attend, no longer includes the free souvenir photo, and the girls are only served a cupcake, juice, and pb &j sandwich???

I was also consdiering both. After looking last night, my daughter and I decided to go with the Wonderland Tea party b/c she's a Very picky eater and wouldn't eat the lunch anyway. This was much more cost effective for me b/c my other 3 chidlren don't want anything to do with characters. This way I'm only paying $40.oo for my one daughter to do the tea party and we can still eat our meals as a family.

It would have cost my family $124.57 for breakfast and we get a free breakfast at our hotel every morning, so this didn't make sense for me.

We've done both and I personally would go with the Wonderland Tea Party. Is it possible for the rest of your family to go have tea at the GF while your DDs were at the tea party? That would be something nice you can do while they are there. 1900 Park Fare is ok, the food and character interaction hit or miss. But the Wonderland Tea Party is really fun, a memorable event. My DD talks about it often with a lot of fun and fond memories! It's a shame that they no longer include the photo, but worth the once in a lifetime activity. Unique! To me, those unique experiences are what makes Disney so special. Character meals will always be there, the Wonderland Tea Party captures childhood in a short window of time.

Good luck and have fun with whatever you decide~

Oh my, I can't believe that after all these months I am finally getting feedback on this thread. It disappeared after not getting any replies and I forgot all about it  Thank you both for the replies but at this point we have decided against doing either the Wonderland tea party or the 1900 Park Fare breakfast. Thank you for bumping this thread up, maybe someone else out there is also trying to decide between the two.
