I know that they are completely different but I am torn. We arrive Friday night, are staying at the airport and then going to GF to check in and straight to Epcot for the afternoon before going back to check in. Right now I have a 3:30 dinner at Chef's booked and a 4:30pm 1900 dinner booked. We have never done either and are on the dining plan. We have a 6yr old dd who is very well behaved for sit down meals. I keep leaning towards 1900 since we are staying at the GF anyway but DD isn't a girly girl and although she might really like the stepsisters, she won't go gaga over Cinderella. We love Chef Mickey's but have found most of the other buffets at WDW very mediocre. The menu at Chef's looks wonderful but the reviews are very mixed.

I would love opinions on this.

Will you be doing other character meals during your stay? If so, skip 1900 Park Faire and do Chef's. If not, do the character meal. :thumbsup2

If your little girl won't be upset about missing a character meal and she is a good adventurous eater, i would def go to chefs.

You don't have to be a girly, girl to love Cindy & Co. Even little boys love them. Dining at 1900 would definitely be convenient seeing you are arriving that day at GF. Chef's used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but the food isn't what it used to be. That being said I think I would choose my restaurant out of convenience.... the food at either location will be ok.

My daughter doesn't know about the character meal yet. I only booked 3 months ago and Chef Mickey's was already booked:sad1: and I told her we couldn't get in. I initially booked 1900 because we are staying at GF and will be checking in around the same time. I also thought she would love Suzy and Perla but they aren't there anymore. I do hear the stepsisters are funny.

We are going to MVMCP so she will get lots of photo ops there. We go to WDW often so not doing a character meal isn't that big of a deal. She is doing the tea party with the Mad Hatter and Alice which will be fun but otherwise, no character meals.
