My family of 7 and I (8 total) will be there from Dec. 8-16. I was unable to make reservations for Garden Grill, Le Cellier, or Coral Reef. I went with my backups, instead. Currently, we are dining at Teppan Edo for lunch on the 12th, Biergarten on the 13th, and Tutta Italia on the 15th. My family is hoping to get reservations at Coral Reef on the 15th for Candlelight Processional. If they do, we will cancel our Tutta Italia reservations and I will post it to make all of you aware. Since DH and DD2 and I will not be doing the CP, we are hoping to get reservations for just the two of us at Biergarten that evening. We are also hoping to replace Biergarten on the 13th with Garden Grill and we are hoping to do Le Cellier on the 12th in place of Teppan Edo.

If it looks like I will get any of my first choices, I will come here and let people know; however it does look like the only one that I was able to book that anyone has any interest in is Tutta Italia.

Well, I just finished trying online and by phone using the DVC 800 number to make dining reservations.

Absolutely no dining reservations for any days, nor any times, all day from December 2nd through December 12th at all of the following restaurants at:

Fort Wilderness Campground Trail's End Restaurant and
Polynesian Resort 'Ohana restaurant and
Epcot's Le Celler Steakhouse restaurant and
Epcot's Rose and Crown Pub and Dining restaurant and
Epcot's The Garden Grill restaurant and
Epcot's Coral Reef Restaurant.

Maybe tomorrow I might get lucky since it will be my Happy Birthday.

I can't believe that I will be 62.

I have reached the age when I could take the 62 year old Social Security early retirement if I wanted to or could.

But I still have over two more years on my mortgage and I just can't afford to retire yet.

I am getting old physicially to work in the critical care areas.

It is getting very difficult for me to stand, much less, walk briskly to emergencies to AICU or NICU or E/R or L/D and back to the department or where ever I am assigned to work.

But, I am so very fortunate to be working with the greatest folks in the world that define the word "teamwork" and "kindness".

I love what I do and I feel so fortunate to have a job.

I did hear back for some one at Disney about my calls and emails and she said that the four Epcot restaurants are holding back all reservations all day because of the Candlelight Processional Packages.

Maybe tomorrow, I will be lucky.

I hope that you all get your reservations that you are hoping for too.

You, know I was thinking that I should only take off work one week this year in December, because I haven't really seen any Pop Century Resort Annual Pass discounts, yet.

And last year, I was lucky and got my very first pin discount by email for some reason with a great discount.

I think that since I will be 62, and that I am still working, that I should take another week and stay at Pop Century Resort.

I can't believe that I am going to believe 62 already.

Hi Ray,

Reading your description of your work day I realized that it sounds just like mine! As a fellow RRT just a few years behind you, I can truly empathize. But, we keep on doing what we do, so that we can make those trips to Disney!! Have a happy birthday !! party:

Thank you. I rarely hear from fellow Respiratory Therapist.

I definitely need the extra money to go to Walt Disney World every December which is my main vacation every year to see everything Disney covered in Christmas lights and and music.

Have you seen Fort Wilderness Campground campsites all decorated at night. I love the way all the campers dress up their campsites in Christmas lights and Disney decorations around their RV's.

I added another photo of my fellow co-worker friends on my pre Happy Birthday party at work lunch.

Looking to get some opinions. Should I make alternative reservations in the event I am unable to get the 2 meals I would like (lunch at Coral Reef and Dinner at Garden Grill). I know you can not have more than one reservation for a particular meal so I am concerned that with all the people waiting to make reservations once they open that I will have to log in and see that they are open then go out and cancel my previous reservations and then go back and hope they are still available. I do not want to end up with nothing we want. To make matteres worse I will be away on vacation with my kids on the 26th and don't want them to know that I am going to disney in December - without them.

When this happened to me, when I was making online regular reservations for my December vacations; the Disney online comment came up on the screen, and gave me an option.

It said that I could cancel one online reservation and then accept the new online reservation with the conflicting time slots or keep the older online reservation.

Maybe when you call to make Disney Candlelight Processional Package reservations, the Disney Cast Member could do the same thing for you by phone.

What ever happens, good luck and best wishes to you and your family.

I made my ADRs on 6/1 and was surprised there were places like Le Cellier with no availability, then realized it must be due to Disney holding back for CP Pkgs.

I ended up making 2 Dinner ADRs @ Via Napoli & 1 lunch @ Tutto Italia, which at the time was available for dinner too but when I went back a few days later dinner @ Tutto was no longer available.

I hope to get a lunch CP Pkg @ Le Cellier but starting to get nervous that I might not.

This is our first trip at Christmas time and I Have to say the ADR situation is making for a very stressful time of planning.

I hope that you get the reservations that you want.

I have to use a prepaid cell phone and waste time calling every day when I could have made the reservationa at my 180th day date.

Instead, I have called at my 198th day.

I have tried again by online and calling by phone for the following without any success.

I got a good Disney Cast Member today.

She was able to check all Lunch and Dinner for each restaurant without a specific time.

But, still no availability at all.

I tried for days from December 4, 2012 through December 13, 2012.

I still find it odd that Fort Wilderness Campground Trail's End has never shown availability for the past 18 days that I have been calling.

Yea...Today, June 20, 2012, 12pm, I was able to make the Four Epcot Disney Dining reservations online and by phone for one at the Epcot Le Cellier Steakhouse restaurant and Coral Reef restaurant and The Garden Grill restaurant and Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Restaurant.

I was posting another poll and thread about these regular dining reservations at the link below if you haven't seen it before.

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2938804

Although my 180 Day regular Dining Reservations were unsuccessful at Epcot for December 4 to 13, 2012. I am so happy to get them today on June 20th.

Today, I was trying to make 193 day regular dining reservations at Epcot for any of my vacation days, and for any time, for lunch or dinner online.

All of the Disney Castmembers on phone told me that they may not be loaded in the system until around June 23th with the Candlelight Processional Packages before these restaurants to be loaded into the computer for regular dining reservations.

This is the first year that I can ever recall in over a decade of going in December and making Dining Reservations of not being able to make a reservation because they said that they were not available because they were not loaded in the computer system because of the Candlelight Processional or for other reasons by various Diney Castmembers.

I am just curious...? How many people have already tried to make Epcot Dining Reservations since November 23, 2012 180 day point, and was unsuccessful or successful?

What date, day was your 180th date that you called and tried to make reservations?

What Restaurants did you try to make and was unsuccessful?

What Restaurants did you make and was successful?

I did set the poll so that you can chose multiple answers for each restaurant.

Good luck everyone.

3pm some places like Le Cellier are showing limited times already for 12/1 and 12/2 so book now if you dont wanna do the CLP package and just want a regular ressie!

Go check now.....was just able to book Le Cellier for dinner for December 7th :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Thanks guys.

Yea, I got my reservations, too.

It took me so long to confirm all my reservations on my email and call all my friends and email everyone and compose another poll, that I just now got done.

Isn't it great that it came out early.

I'm super excited, I just got my Le Cellier on Dec 3! :woohoo::dancer:

I was stressed out that I wasn't going to be able to get one without the CP package.

Does anyone know, if I decide later I want to do the package, can I add that to my existing lunch reservation? I don't want to commit to it until I know who the speaker is, since my dates are still TBA.

That is wonderful.

Every year in the past, Disney has never allowed the Candlelight Processional Package added to a regular dining reservation.

When you call Disney for your Candlelight Processional Package, I don't know if they ask you to cancel your regular reservation, since I have never been in that situation.

If they don't.

Then you could cancel either one later when you decide.

But this is just an assumption on my part.

I'm glad I checked this thread this AM - I checked online and was able to get a reservation for Coral Reef. Interestingly enough - I checked quickly online on my phone and 6:10 was available, but by the time I got to my computer to book I could only get 6:40.

I'm happy to hear that you got your reservation.

I was shocked to get all four Epcot restaurants and Le Cellier for Lunch.

I couldn't get The Garden Grill for Lunch.

Good luck everyone.

I was at my sons college orientation yesterday and happened to check on my phone at 2:45 and got availability but it told me to call to book. I got up and ran out of the auditorium to call and got my reservations for both Coral Reef and Garden Grill that I wanted. So happy now I can relax and don't have to bring my laptop on my non-disney vacation next week and stress about my December disney vacation.

Isn't that the truth. I can't believe that this is the first morning that I haven't had to call or go online to make Epcot Dining Reservations.

I'm happy that you got your dining reservations.

I can't believe it.

This is the first morning in nineteen days that I haven't had to go online, and call Disney to make Epcot Dining Reservations.

I think that I am done for my most wanted dining reservations at Epcot.

Now, if Epcot Candlelight Processional Package comes out June 26th, I might buy one for my last night just to get an closer seat and end my vacation on a super note.

When making dining reservations online, I liked the way the computer reminded me to cancel a conflicting dining reservation. That really saved me time having to go back and look at everything.

And I like the way Disney sends me an email with all of the information of the dining reservation with the confirmation number, name of the restaurant, date and time, etc..

Don't forget, if you linked your Disney resort to your dining reservation; when you check in to your Disney resort, ask the Disney Cast Member to print your complete list of dining reservations on one sheet of paper for you to double check against your own list.

And if you made a credit card reservation to one of the restaurants that require a $10.00 deposit, you only have one day in advance of your dining reservation to cancel to get your money refunded.

Just call Disney at the special cancellation phone number at 404-939-2625, to cancel those reservations one day in advance to your dining reservation. I have put the number in my phone, just in case my plans change while at WDW.

I would check your credit card account when you got home to make sure you got a refund, too, just in case.

Anyone finding that the dining reservations are drying up?

I heard a rumor that not all of the Epcot dining reservations were put into the computer if you didn't get the time of day that you wanted. You might want to keep going online and rechecking for your desired time slot.

Oh, and if you are going solo, I was finally able to get a reservation at one restaurant at Fort Wilderness Campground Trail's End by entering two guests instead of just one guest. This allowed a dining reservation to come up. I had been trying for 19 days by just inputing one guest without success.

I don't think this makes much difference for anyone since I am by myself.

I loved going to Fort Wilderness Campground last year, and seeing all of the Disney Guest's Christmas Decorations and Christmas Lights. Some of them were incredible. I hear some Disney Guests have been doing this for years and years.

I would advise picking up a Disney Fort Wilderness Campground map and to bring a flashlight just so you can plan the best route to get back where you want to end up.

After dinner at Trail's End, I usually take a nice stroll around the RV campsites in one area near their local store for a wonderful and entertaining night. It is not to be missed.

I usually do this on a Sunday evening because afterwards, I will take a bus over to Disney Hollywood Studios, which is open three hours more that day, and see the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights Christmas Decorations and music.

Here is one photo that I found on google search of one Fort Wilderness Campground Guest's Christmas Decorations around their campsite. And there is one area that you can see these great decorations side by side:

FortWildernessCampgroundChristmasCampsite.jpg

Good luck everyone making future reservations.

I am ready for Lunch. How about a Le Cellier Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup Made with Moosehead Beer and Bacon, Cup $5.49 Bowl $6.99.

EpcotLeCellierCanadianCheddarCheeseSoupMadewithMooseheadBeerandBaconBowl900.jpg

Then I think that I'll have a Wild Mushroom Filet Mignon Le Cellier signature dish served with wild mushroom risotto and white truffle butter sauce $27.99

EpcotLeCellierLeCellierMushroomFiletMignon8ozBeefTenderloinwildmushroomrisottowhitetrufflebuttersaucechervil4100.jpg

I don't know what I should have for dessert. I am usually pretty full after this and the Pretzel Bread.
