18 days with the 1 finger typist day 12

Goodbye i-drive, hello disney. 11 days had gone by and i have to say that i didnt get the feeling that it had gone quickly but of course i had a week in disney to look forward to and i felt that we were going to love the activity, as opposed to the laid back "not being in work" that we bought into. The first part of the morning was taken up with packing, breakfast and just getting ready to go , and before you could blink, it was 11 o clock and down we went after saying our goodbyes to the staff. If you saw how much stuff we took down!!!!!!!!!! 24 bottles of water, 12 cokes and thats without all the food and cider i had!!!!!! After leaving all the gear with the bell-hops, we checked in and our room was ready. Id paid for a king-room but had only requested a river-view which fortunately they gave us. We had ground floor building 6 and we found this a great room but i doubt there are bad ones really. It was getting very hot again but we were not surprised and after unpacking the groceries etc, we went over to epcot where at 12 we were hoping to catch a dis meet at mexico, but by the time we got to the front of epcot, it was already two-ish, so we didnt bother rushing. Ill always wish i could have made it bec ause i read that it was a success, but there you go, the timing just wasnt right. We were pretty hungry so we walked round to america to get a burger and france for the first of many napoleon cakes!!!! After plastering muself in icing sugar, it was off to the rose and crown for a pint of "bow" where i got served by dick van d*kes grandson. Why do they not get that we can tell whos british and who isnt. The girls in the shop are. Next,we got the monorail over to the ttc to catch the ferry to the magic kingdom to have a quick look round and to have an ice-cream. Leander coerced me into going on the snow white ride. If an adult ever needs to get in the disney mood, go on that. We got the bus back to the hotel and had a dip in the pool as the sun was beginning to go down. Then it was on to the boat for downtown disney to get a bi of grub at the earl of sandwich and then it was back to the boat after seeing plenty of things we wanted to buy, but we knew we were coming back again. I think that getting up and just coming virtually straight down, i felt that we had got a great deal done in the first day, as last time, we didnt come down till 4 oclock and just mulleredc around in downtown disney. So yeah, we were happy with our first day.
