17 days to go~ Anyone else keeping the trip a secret??

It's killing me!! We've been keeping the secret from our boys (10 and 14) since November!! I'm still not sure when we are going to tell them. I think the day before we leave. My youngest has been asking to go to the beach on vacation this year, so I'm thinking we might use that as a way to tell them. "We know you wanted to go to the beach, but we couldn't decide which beach to go to. So we decided to go to Blizzard Beach this year".....and then wait for the reaction.

I hear you! We still have over 3 months to go and I think I'm going to burst! I've got planning stuff lying all over and I've been glued to this site for a week now - fortunately, my kids are on summer break and have hardly been in the house to notice it. My husband really wants to keep it a surprise for them, though. We probably won't tell them until we actually get to the airport.

Haha good to see I'm not the only one!!!! I'm in California and my boys ( 7 & 9 ) think we are going on a local road trip on the 14th, they have no idea we are going to the Airport or DW. We will be in Florida for 15 days, staying with family, hey on the 26th Kennedy Space Center is Launching a Delta5 rocket into space. Your boys would love that.

We took our kids to KSC last summer on a cruise excursion. It was great...they loved it! We've seen a shuttle launch while standing in the Magic Kingdom once. I wonder if we'll be able to see this launch? We'll have to "look up"....

It is not a suprise for my kids but we have 18 days to go here and time has never moved soooooo sloooooowwwww.

We have planned our trip and our Dson and DIL are joining us 2 days later and our oldest Dgrandson has no clue. My dil is making a special card and it is going to be sent to him in the mail and he will get it a few days before they go. The other surprise is he does not think we know they are coming so they are going to show up at our hotel where they are also booked and he is supposed to surprise us when they arrive.

2 yrs ago when we went in September, my son told us to have a good time and said he and his family were heading to Virginia Beach the same week. We got to the airport and my grandson came up behind me and tugged on my shorts and totally surprised us when I asked where he was going and his cute 4yrd old self said to Disney with you and Papa. It was a surprise for us. 98 days and counting till we arrive at PoP for 10 days of fun...
