Although it seems were rivals when it comes to football (I'm a diehard Bears fan....but I'll keep reading!)
Oh my gosh - you two are killing me! Packers? Bears? ugggg!
I'm a Vikings fan.........
Actually, I'm a college football fan first (Oklahoma Sooners) and the Bears have a few ex Sooners on their roster, so I do root for them when they aren't playing my Viks!
GO VIKINGS!!!!![]()
Oh, wait, they lost in the first round, didn't they? I'm still in denial over that!
Goooooooooooooo, whoever is playing the Eagles on Sunday! I think it's the Cardinals????![]()
Nice to know SOMEONE is a Vikings fan around here.![]()
Yay! I'm not alone! People around here are all Dallas Cowboy fans (including DH) and they tend to look at me like I've got two heads when I tell them I like the Vikings. They can't seem to figure out why someone from Oklahoma would be a Vikings fan - I just tell them I haven't ALWAYS lived in Oklahoma!
Now, if we could just get a decent quarterback...............
OK - we need to quit!
Sorry for the hijack, Jay!![]()
Nice to "meet" you, SoonerGirl!
Kar, count on you to make me smile. Thank you!HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY!!!!

Wow, Jay, I cannot believe LP is already a year old!!!
![]()
Jay, I am sooooo jealous of all those SPA treatments!!! One word comes to my mind "HEAVENLY"!!!!![]()
Well if LP is feeling up to it and you do indeed have a party for him, be sure a post a pic of LP and his!!!!
Just one more thing, Jay, I think you have an absolutely beautiful family. You have been blessed!!

It is hard to believe that in the span of only 12 months my bitty baby became a big infant that can walk, talk (at least a few words), play and laugh. Life is truly good (even with the stomach funk in the house).I think this sums up your whole post perfectly! Seriously, though, I think that if anyone takes your money with the promise of delivering a service, then you should expect to get what was implied and/ or promised. The whole ordeal just seems so "UnDisneylike"!
I must add a

to LP as well! It's hard to believe that this time last year you were holding an itty-bitty baby and now you have a drooling, teething, getting-into-everything real-life little action figure!May every year be as good as the past one and may LP and the rest of your family enjoy time with the ones nearest and dearest to you.
I think it was a communication break down between the person I was speaking to and the rest of the laundry area. I think that the reason they were acting as if they were doing us a favor is that they thought they were. I don't think those doing it/delivering it had any clue that an issue had occured. Instead, we must have looked like overbearing guests who were demanding they jump through hoops for us yet weren't even willing to be grateful. At least I am going to assume that's what happened.SERIOUSLY???!!! They tried to charge you for same day service, after they were the ones in the wrong in the first place?!Thank goodness you finally found someone with some sense and it was taken care of!
I'm looking forward to hearing all about Grand Cayman!
I am looking forward to sharing them...anything is better than focusing on the stomach flu.Good grief!!! I'm glad to hear that the laundry issue was finally handled in an acceptable manner but how crazy that you even had to go through all that. So un disney like. Looking forward to hearing about your adventures in Grand Cayman.
I can't believe they tried to charge you!! But i am soooo sooo soo glad the officer did appologize. you're right, the refunds and credit don't meananything if they don't own up to the fact that they screwd up and that is not what Disney stands for.![]()
I think I might borrow that phrase for my next trip report.. "Making Incredible Memories"...I really like how that sounds. After all the ridiculous laundry drama that Disney inflicted on you, I got the warm fuzzies reading the rest!! How wonderful to have special friends like that, great kids, and to be on a cruise ship making incredible memories. I am just loving this, Jay!![]()
Glad the drycleaning issue was taken care of.... eventually by you. What an amazing trip!
happy to hear the laundry issue was taken care of.
great update and pics.
I did end up really liking the photos from that evening...I just cannot help but wish the boys were in ties everytime I see them.Everyone looks great in the picture, even with the laundry issues! The boys are very handsome!
It really was!I'm so glad you finally found someone with the Disney spirit! It sounds like such a wonderful night.
No luck on the cake. In fact, it no luck on anything other than Pedilyte and a few crackers. I guess that just means we get to look forward to a birthday weekend.HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE PRINCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I sure hope he was feeling well enough for his 1st birthday cake!!!! How exciting that he is one year old BUT sad how fast the time goes. I am totally with ya on that one Jay seeing as though my little guy is now 13 months old!!!
It was very cool and don't worry about being a diehard Bears fan...I won't hold it against you.First of all I hope Little Prince had a wonderful 1st Birthday! I'm sure you made it extra special.
Another wonderful day, despite the whole laundry issue. I'm glad they rectified the situation.
Okay me being the football fanatic that I am thinks that is the coolest thing I've heard in a long time, being able to watch football on a jumbo screen under the stars. Sounds heavenly to me. Although it seems were rivals when it comes to football (I'm a diehard Bears fan....but I'll keep reading!)
Thanks for the birthday wishes. No cake yet. I am now hoping for cake eating tomorrow.Happy belated birthday to the Little Prince!!!

I hope he is feeling better today and can have some cake!![]()
I am so glad the officer came to your rescue (after you horrible run around!).
Looking forward to Grand Cayman!!!![]()
Ha ha ha. College football is WAY better than the pros. However, I wouldn't scream for the Sooners before Alabama, Marquette and Notre Dame (nice eclectic group of favorite teams, hey?).Oh my gosh - you two are killing me! Packers? Bears? ugggg!
I'm a Vikings fan.........
Actually, I'm a college football fan first (Oklahoma Sooners) and the Bears have a few ex Sooners on their roster, so I do root for them when they aren't playing my Viks!
I am glad you found another Vikings fan, I hear they are rare.GO VIKINGS!!!!![]()
Oh, wait, they lost in the first round, didn't they? I'm still in denial over that!

Nice to know SOMEONE is a Vikings fan around here.![]()
Sorry to hear you are having one of those weeks. I am actually in the middle of one of THOSE weeks myself. Celebrating your baby's first birthday while the entire family has the stomach flu has to qualify me.Thanks for all the great updates this week! I'm mostly a lurker here, but I've been having one of THOSE weeks, and your updates, especially the spa treatments, have helped me escape!!! Keep up the great work, it is truly appreciated!

Thanks for the birthday wishes, Jo. I have a question for you, do you know who I would contact about tracking down some spiffy Mickey fireworks glasses? I am in the very early stages of planning a mom and me birthday trip for Stitch. Actually, I won't let myself really start to plan until I get this trip report done. I figure one dream at a time.![]()
Happy Birthday Little Prince
OMG what a fiasco over the laundry thank goodness you finally got it sorted out!!! Your evening sounds lovely![]()
The spa treatments are heavenly. And although it's not the cheapest of pursuits while on a cruise ship...something about the motion of the ocean, the pampering, the surroundings...it's just hard to beat it!I was a couple updates behind (as usual), so I have to comment on your spa experiences...HOW HEAVENLY!!!!!!! How wonderful for a Momma of four boys to get some quality time with her DH and then ALONE TIME. I'm sure that's near unheard of!! That is a true vacation! I loved reading all about it and when we eventually go on a cruise, a spa visit -or two- will be required.![]()
I'm so sorry to hear about the ordeal with the laundry. What a pain for you to have to deal with-and to have to deal with it more than once too.I am very happy to hear they eventually made it right though.
You are right about the customer service actually making them thousands. I have a co-worker who recently said the same thing about an experience of Disney loosing a very sought after ADR on them. The CM for his family of eight, made it very right-giving them the ADR for the next day and free park passes for the next day! They go back every year.![]()
Looking forward to reading about your next port of call!!!![]()
AND HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY LITTLE PRINCE! I hope you are feeling better and could enjoy your cake!
Ha, you guys have nothing to be sorry for. Other than your choice of teams.Yeah, I'm sorry too, Jay!![]()
Nice to meet you too, momoftriplets!
