Friday Dec. 22, 2000 Temp. 70 degrees forecast today!
Slept in this morning and me & my mom & my sister went to do a few loads of laundry. Well, my sister put her laundry into the large front loader and all of a sudden it starts spilling out water! Lucky the floor was slopped and the drain caught it all but it kept on doing it so I pulled the plug. Now the door to this machine locks until the cycle finishes and the cycle can't finish if the plug is out so.........we pick up the house phone and call maint. dept and they come within 5 min. They get the washer open and we have to pull out our wet sopping clothes to transfer them to another reg. washer. My sister broke 2 rides and now this washer! LOLOLOL Well, the guy was so nice he gave us free washers and dryers! For our trouble he says.
Some of our group decided to do EPCOT and after we finished with the laundry we made it to WS by 11AM right when it opened. No one was there and we went on the Mexico Boat ride and the Norway Boat ride and then we shopped and then we went to Japan to get a pearl. My son has been doing this since we first took him in 1987 so he has quite a colection by now. Someday he says he will make a necklace and then give them to his wife! We then head up to the Tappenyaki for lunch. IT was PERFECT! Our chef was fabulous. There were 6 of us and we had our own table to ourselves. We had the Chicken, Scallops, Filet, Shrimp, Lobster and boy it was the best. This is our favorite!
We then walked over to France to see the Statues and the movie. We also did the American Adventure and then got a seat to see the CP with Lezza Gibbons. It was great. We did not do the package and had no trouble getting a seat. We then walked back to Norway to wait for the second TON parade and got a seat on a bench. This is my favorite parade! My sister loved it. There were 10 of us by now watching it. The others joined us during the CP.
On our way out of EPCOT we walked right on SE again! Now my DH had to do some shopping so he said he would meet us later. Little did I know but he bought me a DALE sweater from Norway for a Christmas gift surprise!!!! I had tried it on but I couls not bring myself to spend $230 on it although it was worth it. Apparently my DH thought I was WORTH it and he bought it!
He said it was for all the time I spent planning this trip and how much he appreciated it! It made all the effort worth it!
We all met at the hot tub for a glass of wine and to talk about our day! So yes, it was another great day!
Tomorrow MK EE day!
