Saturday, December the 16th Day 2

I was up at 6 AM charging my digital camera battery and my camcorder battery. I took a shower and got ready for the day. Today was forecast to be sunny and 87 degrees! I walked to El Centro to meet two more people who were showing up today. I wore my lime green ribbon yesterday but saw no one. We used our Coronado Springs mugs for coffee. Everyone else was still sleeping except for my mother and me. We all decided to meet at the Pepper Market for breakfast and talk and catch up and then stay at the pool all day. Everyone met at different times at the the pepper market and eventualy all 12 of us were there! We ate breakfast pizza, breakfast skillets that consisted of scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, and bacon. Some of us had oatmeal, fresh fruits, and a myriad of baked goods for dessert. We stayed talking for two hours!
We walked back to our rooms, which were located in Cabana 8A. We all had corner rooms which have an extra window to them and they faced the lake and they were very close to the main pool. I decorated me window s with colored lights and tinsel and window decals! My sister did her room also! It looked so pretty and you could see our rooms from clear across the lake. Strangers were remarking on how pretty and Christmas it looked!
We grabbed our swimming stuff and headed to the pool. The kids had fun and it was a good afternoon! The girls got their hair done with colored braided sting and beads at the pool. We went back to our rooms and changed and caught a bus at 3 PM for Epcot. We had P.S. for the Garden Grill restaurant in the land. This as were we encountered our first glitch.
We went to the guest service window to turn in our annual passport vouchers to get our tickets. They directed us to another window and the CM did not know what she was doing. To make a long story short, forty-five minutes later we finally got checked in with free Minnie Mouse stuffed dolls for the kids and free VIP vouchers to be used for the whole day to get in front of the line on any ride in Epcot. This was after we insisted the CM get a manager when she couldn't get the AP vouchers to work. It was a frustrating time but the CM Manager really made good out of a bad situation!
We just made it to the garden grill for our 4:30 PM priority seating. They did call ahead to let the Garden Grill know that we were on our way. They brought us to the table immediately and we had a wonderful server and great food! The characters spent a lot of time at the table and signed autographs and we got pictures. And we finished at 5:30 PM so left plenty of time to do the rides.
First we walked on Living with the Land, and then we went to the Honey I shrunk the Audience. No waiting went right into the Pre-show and they let everyone sit on the floor for the Pre-show. This was a first. I stayed standing at first because I thought they would make everyone stand but the song started..True Colors....and everyone continued to sit so I sat!
We walked over to the Ice-cold Station for some Coca-Cola and you should see the look on my brother's face when he took a big gulp of Italy's soda! I don't think he will let me live it down. We went to Test Track where the standby time was 60 minutes but with our VIP tickets we walked right on. We did Spaceship Earth on our way out and headed back to the room to go to the hot tub and relax. It was very warm that night so the kids went into the pool and had a blast.
Another successful day! Tomorrow AK! Up early!
