Hi everyone. DH and I will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary in 2016. While I have been to DL twice ( both on ABD trips) he has never been. For our anniversary we are going to come out to DL without the kids and see where Walt walked.
We most likely will do the ABD backstage magic and add on a few days after. So what things that are adult fun things would you suggest? We never did anything big for our 5th or 10th anniversary ( busy with little kids) so we want to have a great big adventure.
It's easier for us to get to WDW than DL so we want to make it special.
Any suggestions would be so helpful.
Thank you!!!!

A fancy dinner at Carthay Circle, Naps Rose, or the Blue Bayou? Drinks and appetizers at Trader Sam's at the Disneyland Hotel? Split up and buy each other a special souvenir? Share a banana split from Ghirardhelli?

The cove bar in California adventure. Good drinks and the lobster nachos are the best, a great lunch or afternoon snack location. Also. I am a big fan of steakhouse 55 but Napa Rose is more fancy and better for a 15th anniversary if you guys are into that sort of thing

If you are going to stay on-site, contact Disney Floral and Gifts and pre-order some special surprises to be delivered to your room. DH and I went last year for our anniversary and stayed at the Grand Californian. I had something delivered to our room each day we were there. Shortly after we arrived, they delivered a cute bag with our last name embroidered on it that was stuffed with drinks & snacks. For the following days, I had chocolate dipped strawberries and one of our favorite treats, Mickey shaped rice krispie treats dipped in chocolate delivered to our room. There are many options to choose from on their website and it can get pricey. But you can find some relatively inexpensive surprises. DH was excited every time there was something waiting for him in the room when we got back. At first I think he thought that the hotel was just being generous and doing that out of the goodness of their heart. I let him think it for a bit before I told him, no I had pre-arranged it all!

Chef's Counter at Napa Rose for dinner, it's fabulous!
Although DH and I never got to experience this because I got sick and we had to fly home, I had scheduled a private dinner on a balcony at Grand Californian (food by Napa Rose). If I remember correctly it was planned for a time that would coincide w the DL fireworks. Happy planning!!!
