15th Anniversary Pin - Can it be purchased if you registered by mail?

For all you DVC and Cast Member folk: Did any of you purchase the 15th anniversary pin that apparently is only available when you register online? I would really like to get my hands on one, and wished that I had wrote something on my application about purchasing one.

Did any of you successfully get to buy one through mail registration?

You need to go to the online registration and go all teh way through to the shopping cart. Then, remove the registration. What a pain! it works, though.

Just don't try to get a chip that way. A lot of hassle and doesn't work. Had a heck of a time getting one for Scott.

I did this...didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to get the pin if I did DVC registration until it was too late. I was told though that the pin could be purchased at the expo. If I order it now through the registration site, when would I get it?

I think they'll be sent out shortly if ou order now, but I don't know where I got that thought. I also thoguth there was a possiblility that they could sell out before the expo. That's probably just because I saw "limietd edition". I'll let yuo know when I get mine.

I ordered one for Chad as a surprise. I noticed it said somewhere that they will not be shipped - you can pick them up at the Expo. I still would rather have it pre-ordered so we don't miss out.

That's a great idea! I would've never thought of doing it that way. It would really be horrible if they didn't allow a bunch of people to purchase the pin just because they registered by email! Thanks so much for your help!

Carrie - How do I get a chip? I really wish I would have ordered one when I registered. I checked the ChampionChip website, but the link to buy a chip is down. Last time I could check it looks like the chips are for the 2007 marathon.

i have not ordered from them but I believe this is the same place a few others in the group had looked at for 2006's chips and the DL chip. I really like the Goofy design. Bodes well for merchandise in 2008!!! Wooohooo!!!!
