15 Night Stay on Disney Property Booking Dinning Reservations Issues

Good morning all. I am getting more and more frustrated with Disney. I have a 15 night on site resort reservation for mid May 2019 and I can only book out 10 days of the reservation for Dinning Reservation. I wake up this morning excited to book all my dinning reservation only to find out that I can only book the first 10 days of my stay. I called and a wonder cast member informed me that even with a 15 day on site reservation I am only allowed to book 10 days out and then to go on every day for the next 5 days and book 1 day at a time until I get to my 15th day. Ugg Ugg Ugg. I thought it was Disney's sell that if you stay on property you could book everything on the first day your dinning reservations opened. When did this change? I also have early Jan 2019 stay and six months ago I had no problem booking all 15 nights of dinning reservations. I love Disney so much but this is frustrating for someone who visits Disney every time I possibly can. I am kinda speechless. It just blows my mind that prices can so up and Disney just takes more and more away from the paying customer. Like it does not matter.

I always thought that's how it was. You will get first crack at each of those days, so you should have your pick of whatever you want.

To my knowledge it has always been 10 days, and then additional days one at a time. And always advertised as 180+10. Most people aren't staying that long, so it's not an issue.

I think January was a glitch that you were able to book for more than 180+10 - well, unless you booked that when you were within the 180 day period.

Our trips are typically two weeks or more. You will not have any trouble booking what you want over the next 5 days, and you don't need to get up early to book each day. Just book them each day at your leisure. :) Enjoy your trip!

Thanks all. I always am up early but just feeling frustrated. I also found out the Dessert Parties are not past Feb 2019. I also thought they could be booked at 180 days.

Yes, this. It's been 180+10 for almost 10 years (if memory serves, it started in 2009). They actually tightened it up a little more a few years ago making it 180+length-of-stay up to 10 days (they used to allow some leeway for split stays or on/offsite stays, but they don't even do that any more.) We had a two week stay not so long ago and I simply got up and made my ADR's for the latter part of my stay one day at a time. As a PP pointed, the good news is, you shouldn't have any trouble getting the reservations you want because you still have a major advantage over those with shorter stays.

Yes. Almost all of our trips are 2 weeks or more. 17 days in December. We have never had a problem getting great reservations in the last few days of our trip. You still have a great advantage over most people who don't go for as long. Just login each day until you have each day of your trip booked. It is kind of nice to have something to do those few days after the initial booking - besides pouring over these boards.

But you will be able to book your fast passes for the whole trip which is nice.
