Is there something special happening at DLP on 15 March? I tried to book a hotel from 12 - 16 March, and had trouble getting a place for 15 March.

Yes - its our last day :(

We're arriving on the 12th and this is the last day for that period where you get 1 extra day and night free.

Looks like it will be very busy.

Figures I plan our trip during a busy time! LOL!!
I guess I'll see y'all in line!

hello

yes it's a busy period
but basically every day is busy!
a few years ago the parks used to be very empty but now, well not any more!
I'm going for a 2 days trip on the 16th, I called disneyland as every hotel seems to be booked......
well it seems that this week is very popular with Spanish peopel and UK as well has some holidays
during the week no french people
during week-end full of french as well

If you want some advices I visit disneyland paris quite a lot

as no fastpass for Nemo ride in the sudios, rush there first time in the morning, then ride tower of terror, then take a fastpass to ride it again later
cars is cute :)
Animagic is excellent

hope you will enjoy your trip

Thank you for the tips Isabelle! That is a very good tip about Crush's Coaster and TOT. With the idea of the projected crowds I was going to cancel our trip, but I think we will just pace ourselves and brave the crowds. We have been to WDW in July, when you are packed shoulder to shoulder with people walking down mainstreet in 36C temps...Not fun, but we can make it work. Our children are little, so we will be patient for their rides and perhaps skip the grownup rides (although I think I am finally ready to try Space Mountain!)

Is the St Patricks day stuff on on 15th? This could be why its so busy and booked up.

Where are you staying? If onsite it will definitely be worth getting up early for EMH- you can get a lot of Fantasyland rides done several times before the crowds - also Space Mountain and Buzz

We are off property at the Marriott...It would be a push to get the kids up, dressed, fed, organized and out the door and to make the 8:00am opening anyway. We'll just do what we can and prioritize first the rides that are different than the ones we can experience at WDW and then try to get on our favorites.

Hotels are fully booked for the next year, thanks to the suscess of the Kids Under 12 Go Free deal, and of course the 15th Anniversary. I hear talk that a new hotel could be in the works to meet new demand. But I don't think any decisions will be made on this until after the 15th Anniversary finishes to see if the demand is still there.

But I too had trouble booking last month and cheapest room available was a Montana room at Seqouia Lodge. Lucky for me I was upgraded to a suite upon arrival, but I would stress to anyone hoping to book a vacation this year to do so now as demand is high and the cheap options like Santa Fe are the first hotels rooms to get scooped up !
